Real courteous and friendly they spent a lot of time making sure we understood all the features of the truck we was purchasing The Finance department was great they didn’t try to oversell you on any upgrades

Service for Diesels ---- Go elsewhere

Sales department is great. Service not so much. I won't ever be back. If you buy a Diesel truck from them expect limited support and service. I've had my Denali HD 2500 Diesel for 9 months and 9800 miles. I've already taken it in 3 times and tried for a 4th today. Don't use their Online Service booking system. Nowhere can you check that it's a Diesel and when you get there the service tech tells me it lists my vehicle as a Malibu?? Really.....if you can't have a self service portal that actually works why offer it? Just makes for upset customers. I was also told by the service advisor that their diesel tech only works M-F....well then why would you allow me to book a Saturday appointment online? I'm sure their sales staff sells alot of diesel trucks....so how can you possibly not staff your service department to service customers you have sold. I would have cut them some slack but this was my third service interaction related to my diesel truck....and now it all makes sense why every time I have brought it there seems to take forever. I told the service advisor I'm done with this dealership and won't ever be back. I've since booked a service call with a GMC dealership closer to Sacramento and my house for Monday and they have multiple diesel techs working on weekdays and on the weekend. If you have a diesel and try to get service from Thompsons GMC....good luck. Your experience will probably be the same as mine. Unfortunate for them as I won't be back.

Once I arrived to the service I realized that the coupons I collected all expired on 12/31. My appt was the first Wk in January. The service center gave me a 10-15% discount. I had plans to do more on my car but the end cost was more than I planned

Excellent, a great experience
