We started off not even sure we were ready to buy a car,
We started off not even sure we were ready to buy a car, and Starlin accepted that He helped us with that decision....no sales pitch, just being helpful and respectful to both my wife and myself as we independently explored the options. We found her special car, a "CrossTrek" and were able to negotiate a good, fair deal on the car and our trade, enough to make it worth driving back up from Maryland a week later to take delivery.

Both my son and I had the best car buying experience at Bertera of Subaru. our sales rep, Starlyn Zabala, was great, very relaxed and no high-pressure sales. I really enjoyed working with Starlyn and when I am ready to purchase another Subaru, I will seek Starlyn out. Hilary Sherwood, the Business Manager was amazing. I would not have been able to buy my car without all of her help. These were used cars my son and I were purchasing and Ron Russo, the Service Director was wonderful, taking the time to going over each car and what had been done and the condition of each car. I cannot say enough of our experience and will definitely go back to Bertera Subaru!!!! Shari T.

I am a fellow salesperson at a different dealership who has bought several Subarus from John Bernard dating back to 2016. I frequently tell my customers about the salesman who had two arms full of paperwork and license plates that offered to help me when I was 18 wanting to test drive a Crosstrek a half hour before closing after his coworker told me no we’re about to close. He has become my role model when it comes to what I do every day. That's why I have purchased 2 WRXs and a STi from him. I treat all of my customers the way John treated me when I bought my first car from a dealership. It's helped shape me into what I have now become in my career. For that I thank you John, I will forever send anyone searching for a Subaru to him.

Went to Betera when another Subaru dealer was unable to
Went to Betera when another Subaru dealer was unable to recalibrate my car after replacing my windshield for 2 days with little to no communication. In despair, I called spoke with Alba in Service, she got me an appt for the very next day. She was exetremly helpful, knowledgable and communicated thoroughly. Thank you Alba and the Service Team as I drove my car home that day with no recalibration issues, as per the other Subaru dealer.
