I came into the service department to have them check my
I came into the service department to have them check my front brakes and my stablitrak service warning. They changed my front brakes and changed out the shifter but the stabiltrak still is coming up as a warning. I came back in for them to check that and my brakes that are still squeaking and they said that they’d have to charge me a new fee if there was something else since they changed the shifter. Then they wanted to charge to clean the brakes off and blamed “whoever did them” will never return..

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at this dealership. I brought in a diagnostic test that I had gotten from an auto repair store and stated one of my engine sensors was down. Upon further inspection the service team stated that was a non issue and that I needed a new timing chain. So I held out to get my money right. Brought my car back in this week and told them I was ready to get my timing chain replaced and upon further inspection I was told it was the sensor that I had originally came in to get fixed and that the timing chain was fine. Ok fine let’s get it fixed. I was told it would be completed by EOD Monday. By the end of Monday the website had no update and the service person that was assisting me couldn’t even give me a call to say it would need to stay overnight. But I was patient and called the next morning when you guys first opened. He said they were waiting for a part that came in on Tuesday. Ok fine. He then said we will have it ready by 10 am. By 11 am once again no communication. I had to call myself and was notified that my vehicle was perfect now but I was going to have my engine light on until I got a fuel pump part updated to which I asked the service rep how is my car in perfect condition if it still has the engine light on and I’m going to pay more money to get something else fixed. He said it’s ok. To which I responded it is absolutely not ok. I have spent a lot of money in repairs here in order to maintain a vehicle that I would like for the lifetime of the vehicle. Coming to this dealership has become more of a money trap than a quality cart experience. Here I am with a car that has its engine light on and thus not in perfect condition. He said he would call me when the Chevy tech calls him with information on the next part that needs to be fixed. Once again two days later still waiting for a call about this part. This whole experience was extremely frustrating and as a long time patron of this dealership I’m extremely disappointed in the ability of the team to communicate, assess, and repair my vehicle. I expect a call from a service manager because this whole experience was totally unacceptable and I fully anticipate taking my business elsewhere. First inaccurate diagnosis followed up by lack of communication leading to myself being without a vehicle for 30 hours tag teamed with being told my vehicle is in “perfect condition now” when it clearly not is a terrible misrepresentation of what I believe your teams goal of quality service. Disappointing.

Just bought a car this Saturday.
Just bought a car this Saturday. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Except the car salesperson Alex who showed us a car, all other people just scammers and liars over the phone. Don’t go there at least if you want your total will change 5 times through the paperwork. They treat people like idiots. Please be aware and go to different dealership. SCAMERS and LIARS and the most disrespectful to women I’ve ever seen.

BEWARE OF KEVIN CAYTON
I purchased a vehicle on Nov 6, 2023 at Paletine Chevrolet. After purchasing this vehicle, I was trying to make arrangements to send my current vehicle back to NuMark Credit Union which is the company that financed my old vehicle. Kevin Cayton, Custom Finance Mgr, informed me that he would have my car towed to NuMark Credit Union. I had my niece with me when Kevin Cayton verbally stated this. I called Kevin and emailed him in regards to his arrangements that he stated. Kevin stated that he would return my call. I never received a follow-up call from Kevin Cayton. I stopped by the dealership on Nov 13, 2023 and spoke with Robert Moore, General Sales Mgr, he informed me that my car was towed to Armor Recovery Solutions. I talked to Robert Moore in regards to what Kevin Cayton informed me about him making arrangements for my vehicle to be towed to NuMark Credit Union. Kevin Cayton lied. He had my car towed to Armor Recovery Solutions in Addison, Ill. After the car was released to NuMark Credit Union, fines totaled over $600. I called the Paletine police department to make a report. The Paletine Chevrolet personnel lied to the police officer and stated that I abandoned the car on their parking lot and so therefore my car was towed. Now, I have been summons to court about this matter.

LEMON
I Purchased a 2016 Chevy Equinox only for 6 months to 1 year just trying to establish some line of Credit. November the 17th will be a Year took my truck in September the 2 had to get a sensor 703.00. I was told Truck had extended warranty that’s not true. I had to take the truck back in to Chevy yesterday engine gone the service rep told me and my husband that it was going to happen eventually. I called KEVIN the Finance manager whom, I been working with he has his assistant, receptionist call me back he did even have the courtesy to call me back himself. Well from here I will be reporting to the better business bureau and contacting my Lawyer. KEVIN knew it was an LEMON.

Avoid this place
This is hands down the worst dealer I have ever been at. I felt like they wanted to scam me the entire time. They took my car without my consent and wasted 4-5 hours of my time just so I could LOOK at a car. They have their advertised price and then added $9k after you sit with a sales person.
