Great car buying experience
I couldn't be happier with my car buying experience at Joe Heidt. Richard Song was the sales professional we worked with and he did a fabulous job helping us find exactly what we were looking for. The entire extended team was also extremely kind and helpful, which contributed to making the experience so positive. Not customer focused after selling a vehicle
Bought car in June. Horrible Customer Service after you buy. Delay on plates, missing key, Bank they financed with missing insurance information that I will supply. They do not return calls or answer emails in a timely fashion and sometimes just don't answer. Put in a complaint on line, no response. Key now in after 2 months and needs to be programmed. My son is told he needs to come during the day or 7:30-12:00 Saturdays. He is supposed to take off from his new job so he can accommodate their desired hours? He has driven across the bridge to stay in Rockland many times hoping to get his plates so he can get inspection done. Got plates when he called to say the temp plates expired and he could get a fine. Has been trying to get the key but they never found it so I asked them to order a new one. It has to be programmed so he said 6pm is when he can get there but no it can only be during the day. The car was not cheap, the fault is with the Dealership so they should accommodate my son. Horrible customer service but nice car

I hope this is a cautionary tale for others.
My mom has been leasing Tiguans from Joe Heidt for a number of years. Overall the service at Joe Heidt Motors Is only fair. The attitude of some of the people there is not friendly and they don't seem to be customer oriented. We've had a few incidences with the repair department that we have not been happy with. Just recently we brought the vehicle in due to an electrical issue and they wanted to replace the battery for $200 even though the battery was fine. Now my mom's lease on her current Tiguan is almost up and she wants to switch to a Cadillac. We have the vehicle inspected by SGS and we're all set to turn it in. We are ready to pick up the new Cadillac today and need to return the Volkswagen. We just called Joe Heidt Motors to inform them that we MUST bring the vehicle in today as we are transferring the plates from the Volkswagen to the Cadillac. We need the plates off the VW to pick up the Cadillac. We've been calling Joe Heidt Motors for two hours now and been getting the runaround. They say they will call back but they don't. They're telling us "they don't have the room on the lot to take the vehicle". If you're going to buy or lease a Volkswagen you're better off going to a different dealer. We've heard that from a lot of people that have Volkswagens.

The best of the best when it comes to customer experience!
I have leased and serviced three cars from this dealership, a CC, a Jetta and a Tiguan. Every time I have to visit for anything big or small, I get the best service. Kind, respectful, understanding and professional. The entire team is great, my most recent fantastic experience came from Dennis! Highly recommend you give them a chance, I know I will not be visiting another dealership or service center anytime soon!

From the personable welcome;through negotiations; to delivery of car - Alfredo was a pleasure to deal with. Attentive and knowledgeable, he even worked with me on his day off! Very pleased with the deal he worked out with the Scott, the manager. This dealership is lucky to have such a great salesperson and because of him an extremely satisfied and happy customer.

Excellent Customer Service Experience!
The people at Joe Heidt VW really know how to take care of their customers. Scott and Juan in sales took good care of me when I purchased a certified pre-owned car. Mike in finance made sure that I got a great loan rate and got the right amount of extra warranty on the car. Joe in service couldn't be any nicer. My car had an issue with a wear part that was technically "out of warranty"; however, the dealership took care of this cost as I have only had the car for a couple of months. I have dealt with a good number of car dealerships over the years and I never worked with a more honest, caring group of people then everyone at Joe Heidt VW.
