Very poor service at DCH Paramus Honda. Our salesman was...

Very poor service at DCH Paramus Honda. Our salesman was not professional and was only interested in closing the deal right away. He was not able to get a car to test drive and left us at his desk for over an hour. Did not take the time to go over what we were looking for or to explain the features of the car.

I got a defective car and a suspended license

My experience with DCH Paramus has been an unending nightmare. First, the car I bought was defective. The entertainment system and speedometer died on a known issue no one tells you about. After not offering me a service appointment for five weeks, I called the salesman, who intervened, and they fixed it, but that’s not actually the bad part. The bad part is they didn’t register the car properly, and because of that, my insurance policy was nearly canceled until I begged for an extension, my driver’s license has been suspended, the registration on the car is now suspended for another three months, and I’ve been fined $852 for a car I can’t legally drive but still must make payments on. Trying to get a straight answer about this and results in finger-pointing about whose fault it is. There are no consumer protections against this kind of negligence. Zero. And you can’t actually get involved and do anything about it because the dealer has to handle the transaction. Since I bought the car three months ago, I still can’t legally drive it. I will say everyone has been very friendly, but that isn’t enough anymore.

My experience at DCH Honda was excellent! I would like to thank everybody I worked with at DCH Wael, Karim, Breana and even the receptionist Georigia for making feel welcome and comfortable. Karim was a great salesman. He was thorough and informative when it came to helping me chose the perfect vehicle to fit my needs as well as my budget. This the first dealership I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of because they were HONEST throughout the whole process. I highly recommend this dealer and will be bringing all my friends and family who interested in purchasing a vehicle to DCH.

Excellent Overall

I can’t say enough nice things about John Tavarez at DCH and the entire team. Courteous, patient, professional. I was in the market for a used car and found the perfect FIT (ha ha) after shopping their competition. I’m now a Honda aficionado for life! Any reasonable offer is entertained.
