Simple, stress free, phenomenal service!

I saw an ad for a 2012 Kia Optima online on Monday. Within minutes Jake Naasz reached out to help get me the car I wanted. The entire process was a breeze and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience!! I definitely would recommend them when purchasing a car!

Phenomenal Customer Service!!

Although we did not end up making a purchase here for other various reasons, the service here was absolutely wonderful! Salesman Jake Naasz was kind, personable, well-informed, made us feel welcomed and comfortable with the process, brought around cars for us to look at and test drive..we felt really well-treated here. Definitely going to be recommending Motorcars of Kalamazoo to friends, co-workers, and family members.

Poor customer service

I was talking with Freddy about trading in my BMW for a Rover on their lot. My Fiance is also in search of a vehicle and has cash... After a few days of Freddy feeding me lined like "the owner is out of town" (what large dealer can't function when the owner is out of town? No other management? right...) He just stopped responding at one point. Not sure if he thought I was blowing smoke and just decided to ignore me or what, so I contacted someone else at the dealer named Brooke, She informed me the vehicle was still available but never responded to any of my other questions. The following day I see the vehicle removed from their site most likely because it was sold. Neither sales person felt the need to inform me before I drove three hours from Traverse City to pick up the vehicle. I buy at least a few cars a year and often travel hundreds of miles. Cars look decent but customer service is severely lacking.

So... Moving on....

Went to the dealership in Kalamazoo to look at a specific used vehicle that was listed on their web site. I walked into the building, which was "under rennovation" but there didn't seem to be even an attempt to make the space clean enough for customers to walk in. There was a gentleman sitting at a laptop in a small cubicle who remained sitting in his chair the entire time. Did not greet me at all until I approached him. He seemed exceedingly uninterested in talking to me. He didn't even offer his name when I asked. Turns out the vehicle I was interested wasn't even there, but I was told by him that it would be back in a couple hours. I gave him my contact information and was told I would receive a call so I could come back later. It's been 2 days and I have not received a call. The whole minimal experience made me feel as though I was walking into a very shady business. I will not be going back, even if they finally call me, nor do I recommend anyone visit their location.

Nothing good about this place.

Purchased a 2013 Malibu car that had some repairs to be done before purchasing, daughter went to sign and pick up car and repairs were not made. Make appointment to make repairs, only did one side and had to make another appointment. Return for second side and she asked for a quote for additional repair work. Quote came via text to which she said NO to and did not authorize, they went ahead and did the repairs. Argued with her that she approved work, text proof that she did not so settled on a lower price. They requested cash only for payment, we refused and insisted on a credit card, we had to sign a typed paper saying we would not dispute the charge. To add insult to injury, the mirror was attached with a screw and fell off within 2 weeks....Keith and Tony are nothing but lying, cheating xxxx! We were warned when we had the car checked out prior to purchase from repair shop down the road - 22 year old learned a valuable lesson, Keith and Tony should be ashamed of themselves!

Good experience with them

Overall the experience was decent. The only thing negative is that the vehicle I purchased has zero fuel in it when I picked it up and was not even cleaned. Every dealership I have ever shopped at typically has filled it up and detailed the vehicle and had it all ready.

Breath of fresh air!

I found the car I wanted online and it was in Lansing. Tony made sure I had the car available for a test drive in Kalamazoo at the Motorcars location on Sprinkle Rd. The price was fair. The experience was painless. Tony displayed the patience of a saint, even while dealing with a visit from Mother Nature which brought a flood, a collapsing roof, everything soaking wet. Tony set up a makeshift desk outside with his laptop to serve his customers. Very impressive. Beyond that, a week after buying my used car, it needed some minor brake work and Tony made sure it was taken care of. I recommend this dealership; especially Tony Kim, to anyone looking for a quality used car at a fair price and impeccable customer service. Thanks Tony!

Great place and great guys

Tony Kim was absolutely great to work with. I came in with my guards up because the horrors of use car buying but Tony made me at ease right away. He was never pushy and answered all my questions in a very timely and professional. Would reccomend anyone I know to go to Motorcars of Kalamazoo!

Awesome dealership! Great people!

I was really apprehensive at first but Tony really put me at ease. He was really helpful but not pushy at all like lost experiences i’ve had previously purchasing vehicles. Now I am a proud new owner of a beautiful Audi. Keep up the great work guy and I would definitely recommend anybody I know to give Tony and Motorcars a try.
