I was able to work with Matthew at this dealership. After doing my due diligence and visiting what seemed to be an endless number of central Iowa car lots, the Merle Hay location seemed to have the least amount of "junk" out of everyone...so many other lots, trying to sell cars with big patches of rust, torn seats, etc. I felt the end pricing was fair, but that I was getting the best overall value. The bulb was burned out on the turn signal, they were good to replace it after the sale was finalized even though it was an "as is" sale. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to refer my friends and family to Tom's.

The salesman was very helpful they did not pressure me into buying a vehicle that was not the correct fit for me I am a repeat customer this is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from Tom’s auto sales they were very helpful in helping me decide which vehicle would be the correct fit for me very knowledgeable on the options of the vehicle they want to help u find a quality vehicle

The sales staff were friendly, the vehicle matched the description, the staff gave us a copy of the vehicle history, and allowed us multiple test drives. I was well satisfied with their service. The vehicle was very clean.

Went to look at a car. We were denied a test drive of a vehicle because they did not think we could afford it. It is not good to judge a book by its cover. We have enough in savings we could buy that car with cash right now, but do they know that? Nope, because they judged us before even really talking to us. We are also looking to buy an inexpensive car for our daughter who is 16. They lost that sale also, even if they have the car she wants at a great price. They are not getting my business or referrals. The salesman was nice. I am referring to the manager because the salesman went inside to talk to the manager about the test drive. The manager discriminated/judged us and wouldn’t let us test drive a car, because of that, the manager has now caused Tom Wong(owner of Tom’s auto sales) to loose business, and the salesman to loose any commission he would have gotten. If I were Tom, I’d be searching for a new manager that has better customer service skills.

Everyone was very helpful and attentive. They were very easy to deal with and anxious to make sure I was happy with the car and price. I will use them again. Joe was great!
