It was very hard for me to want to get another car from another used dealership cuz I was screwed over from Carmax. I called Harpswell and explained what I was going through. I spoke with Brandon and within a few hours I had answers and was approved for a car. This experience was pretty amazing. He even stayed there till I was able to show up cuz I got out of work at 4 and was 45 mins away. Brandon told me no matter what you will leave here with something and he was right. I ended up with a 2017 Nissan Rogue with low milage. Definitely impressed with this place. Thank you so much for helping and my family get into another car. I was recommended to this place and I definitely will recommend this place to other ppl. Already have actually. Thanks again..

does not stand behind what they sell. Prepare for MAJOR REPAIRS NEEDED. In less then 1 year, I had to pay for over 2K dollars worth of repairs. Asked for partial refund of warranty and have been blocked from their sight as they do not want anyone to hear the truth

Engine light came on 10 minutes on the way home. Brought it to get fixed 7 times. Finally took it to a REAL dealer , they gave me a laundry list of things wrong with it. I paid 1900 dollars for a warranty. Harpswell auto said anything goes wrong mechanically the warranty would cover it. Now , 3800 dollars later the warranty wont cover any of it. Harpswell are a bunch of liars who will say what ever to get you to buy from them at ridiculous rates then dick you around and around. I have obtained a decent lawyer and I am filing a maine lemon law ( suit). IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE BUT HARPSWELL AUTO......THINK HARD ABOUT IT. THEY ARE CON MEN , LIARS AND NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. I can give you a list of names of other people who have had the same issues with them as I have.

Brandon was incredible to work with. He knew my budget and made it all work for me.. It was a big step for me and I will forever be grateful that he really listened to me and my needs. They do not finance everybody that's false If you actually have bad credit you will need a co signer or a pile of money down ( there words ) and there vehicles high milage and way over priced Just another scam car lot .

Great bunch of guys awesome selection of cars and they treat you very well I'm very happy with my new used vehicle I would recommend them to everybody.

I bought a 2012 Nissan rogue from these xxxxxxxx they totally screwed me over the price on the car was $12,000 by the time I left there they had jacked it up to $17,000 without me knowing about it Read your paperwork good because they will screw you over they should there Dealers license for what they are doing

Never put a deposit down because I found out the hard way that they don't give deposits back, and was never told this on the phone. Also was told there trucks were in good shape. High prices for xxxxty trucks. 75 percent of the trucks were all scratched, needed tires. I only found this out once I drove down after being told the trucks were in good shape and they all needed tires. One truck they painted bolts on the back bumper and got black spray paint all over the back bumper. Would never recommend this place.
