I purchased a 2500 diesel with 14,000 miles on it. After a few months I noticed that the front end suspension was not sitting level. After taking the vehicle to another dodge dealer, they told me that the vehicle had an aftermarket leveling kit installed incorrectly. I took the vehicle back to Lodi where I purchased it, and they agreed to remove the kit at their cost. 3 weeks later, my axle broke where the leveling kit was installed. No ownership. No rental car. I’ve now lost my job because I can’t tow. And this dealer isn’t accepting any responsibility. DONT BUY FROM THEM. And yes, I am filing a lawsuit against them for this wonderful experience.

I bought a 2016 Subaru from Lodi dodge I drove it for a week I got a ticket for my ex system that came with the car when I bought it I called the dealer and they told me it's my responsibility cost me $1500.00 drove it for approximately two months the engine blew up When I bought the car I was told the car had a factory warranty on it so I did not buy an extended warranty so when the engine blew up I had it tow to Subaru they checked it out and I was told it needed an engine and it would not be covered under the factory warranty And the reason why was it had aftermarket parts on it I call the dealer and talk to the GM He told me that it's not their responsibility I bought the car with those parts on it The dealer told me that I could put those parts on so what I did I got a hold of the original owner I talk to him he told me that he install those parts when he owned the car so after the car been with Subaru for two months It cost me $8000 plus a rental car for over 2 months and the general manager will not even talk to me about it it's really sad they would treat the customers this way I could not make the payments on the car and pay for the engine so I got three months behind on my payment so I could pay for the engine and kept the car stay away from this Dealer

Worst Buying experience ever experienced
I was trying to buy my wife a car as a birthday gift and they had a car that matched exact color combination and specs that she liked. So I was in a hurry to get the car before her birthday. They sensed the desperation and put me through a wringer and I did not even step into their showroom yet. Its been a while since I was in car market, I thought things gotten better with internet and more open information, but boy was I wrong. They used every cliched technique that is associated with an 'used car salesman'. I reached out to them online. Their internet sales person Andy Sanchez responded in email and offered me a price, I countered and he reduced the price by $300. A day later I called ready to buy it at the reduced price, but wanted to see if they would further come down, so asked if would meet me in the middle of my asking price. To my surprise he agreed rather quickly. I was elated and asked him to give me the total out the door cost in email before I can come up there. He demurred, but when I insisted he sent me the first price he quoted (before the two reductions he agreed to and one of them is in writing). Not only that, he also added an highly inflated DMV fees. So he is just agreeing to everything I was asking without any intention of honoring it just to make me come down the showroom. At this point I should have walked away, but I was really hoping to get this car to my wife. So I escalated it to one of the sales manager and he said he will get back to me after finding out what is happening and nothing. I sent him all the emails that Andy sent me showing the prices he offered me and also mentioned to him, since I don't have time I am willing pay what they are asking. All I asked them is not to make me deal with the sales person I was dealing with. Still no response. After couple of calls, they put me to another sales manager, Browning. After hearing me out, he said he will offer it at the original asking price, but this time with correct DMV fees. He insisted I take financing with them even though I don't need it. I agreed to that as well. It really showed my desperation. I finally brought up the car inspection with a third party mechanic that was agreed upon earlier with my first sales person and he rudely responded that I do not want do this deal and hanged up the phone on my face. I was thinking they are going to play the 'good cop - bad cop', but it ended being 'bad cop-worse cop'. There was no professionalism across any of the sales staff I dealt with. They played all the cliches - lying to get you in the door, inflate fees, insist on financing that you don't need. All this just over the phone. Imagine the horror if I made 90 mile trip and got stuck at their showroom. If they sense any kind of desperation from you, they will devour you. Meanwhile I am left without the present to my wife I am hoping to give and wasted my time with them. I usually don't write bad reviews, but I feel that I am doing public service by letting everyone know how they operate.

Lodi Ram-Where They Speak Profanities to Customers
I’m giving them one star because I can’t give them zero. Marty who I believe is the manager there is a fast talking and very rude employee. When negotiating on the price of the truck I presented a coupon from the manufacturer to try to get the price of the vehicle lower, Marty’s response to the coupon was “I don’t have time for this sh*t”. The ONLY reason I went through with the purchase is that the truck I bought was very hard to find and there wasn’t another one on the west coast. Marty will tell you one thing and flatter you with his lips, but in the end he will do what’s best for him. If you buy from this dealership, stay on your toes and be aware of what’s happening. I was never sent an email so that I could review my purchase through Ram or through the dealership even after requesting one several times from Marty. I Purchased this truck over a year ago so I’ve had plenty of time to reflect on my experience, so this review is not “in the heat of the moment”. Anybody can gain a customer one time, but a good business knows how to keep a customer. I will not be back Lodi Chrysler and Marty.

More truck than I expected
I had shopped inventory from about 23 dealerships in the region. Contacted several and beyond the automated response from most Lodi followed up both automated and from people who would actually talk negotiate and keep it real. Browning through the internet department actually gave me a bottom line price from what we could see i qualified for in terms of Black Friday and 2019 closeouts. I had my eye on 1 preferred color and what I thought was all features I wanted. Read up close again no rear sensor. Being a full size truck guy for over 20 years i had grown to appreciate that feature that kept me out of a few incidents. When we arrived at dealership saw the one we had spoke about parked up front ready to go. Chuck Bartman greeted me sent us to Browning as we arrived late in evening during hurricane like weather. I explained my mistake about the feature, there were 3 other Laramies in lot and the other 3 all had rear sensors. Chuck took over got the one i thought looked best. Took us on an extended test drive so i could check the things i had read about and well nothing wrong at all with my fears. We made it back to lot, Browning had been off, waited to ask how I liked that one instead. I loved it so did wife. He said, well we will get you in that, have a good one I must go now. The issue for me was this model was 5000 more than the one i had come in for. I had stretched estimate to the limit for budget, had pre approved financing when i came in, but not great rate. After going back and forth a little came upon agreement for trade in found a few more rebates, it still didnt look like it would be one I could afford. We were close then credit manager found a much better loan which dropped the payments much lower even lower than my truck i was trading in. Well still hurricane like weather Chuck got it ready for delivery with the extra options for the off road package we finished up the paper work. Really helpful was not a bad experience as its usually a marathon when i buy vehicles as my dad was in business for many years. They were patient helpful and we drove off in a much nicer model at a lower price and payment than was expecting. Browning was right, " oh we will get you in to that truck if thats the one you want let us work on it". Had a negative experience with another DCJR dealerhsip month before buying wife new jeep. Wish we had been able to go to Lodi for both. They did a very good job in challenging circumstances. The Laramie is awesome like a truck and luxury car in one. They followed up several times after wards as it has been over a month. Was really hard to get anyone to talk price possibilities or even to talk from many other dealers in area. 3 followed through Lodi got to the point. Great selection nice lounge area. We live about 40 miles away and will return when its time to buy again. We do hold our vehicles a long time and well I am waiting to see what RAM has coming down the road to top the 2019. Great price and just let them keep working be a bit patient. Thanks to Chuck Bartman and Browning for being organized and upfront.

Experience fully satisfactory
I own a Chrysler, ergo I get my Chrysler serviced at a Chrysler dealer / garage... I also own a Chevrolet with 275,000 miles & I still get it serviced at a Chevrolet dealer / garage every 5000 - 6000 miles. If I owned a Ford I would get it serviced at a Ford dealer / garage...Sounds pretty simple to me...Lodi CDJR has a highly qualified Chrysler full service garage with fully certified mechanics...What more can I say
