Great experience Here

Really good buying experience buying a car with these guys. They let me take my time and really check out the car. they even gave me carfax information on other cars I was looking at.

Not respectful, trustworthy or honest.

The manager (Zach I believe his name is) is not deserving of a single ounce of respect. I'd put my card details across to Select to place a down payment on a car because it would be 2 days before i could make it down there. Somebody else came in the day before i was set to go down there, so of course the respectful thing to do is they sell the car to them instead. Not to mention the fact that I paid $49.92 to have a check over-nighted to me so that I could put the down payment that they had requested. So I am now $50 lighter with no car. An absolute shambles of an establishment. Not a great statement of trust, honesty, or respect. About as much use as a chocolate coffee pot.

EASIEST PURCHASE EVER

Bill with Select Auto Group is awesome! I came to Denver from South Dakota and I had one day to replace my car that was totalled by a drunk driver. This was my first stop and I bought a car here! Bill was very friendly and easy to work with. I didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable like I do at some dealerships. I would definitely come back here for my next vehicle!

*BUYER BEWARE*

BUYER BEWARE! This company lies about the condition of vehicles, recommends an mechanic who looks at it and also lies to you telling you it's in great condition. After this I brought the car to my own mechanic who said that there were many issues with the car including that the tire leaks, the front headlight needs to be replaced (costing ~2k), there's a problem from a previous accident and more! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!

Rip-off company

I'd give them zero if I could. A little over 10 months ago I had to edit my original review as SAG committed extortion when they demanded that I write a positive review if my girlfriend wanted her vehicle back . Originally, she traded in a luxury vehicle for a SUV. The SUVs transmission went out after less than 12 hours. After a few phone calls SAG agreed to repair the vehicle as they already had it scheduled for repairs the day they sold it as the vehicle had an unexplainable noise coming from under the hood anytime you hit a bump . They failed on all ends of providing customer service as we were constantly lied to about deadlines, phone calls, and actually work done. Their mechanic was extremely rude over the phone whenever we were pushed over to him by the sales manager. And my girlfriend had to rent her own vehicle to get around as SAG didn't want to offer a courtesy car . After about a month of them "repairing" the SUV with no updates they offered a rental after my girlfriend started complaining . Some short time after that was when I left my original review which we then got a phone call from the mechanic. The mechanic, claiming to speak on behalf of SAG, tells my girlfriend that they're being nice by repairing her vehicle for free, after asking her to pay half the costs for their decisions to sell a vehicle with a bad transmission, and if we dont remove the negative review on Google then SAG might not get is our vehicle back without charging us for time and labor . After removing the negative review we got notice that the vehicle would be ready in about another week. When we got the vehicle back we noticed the unexplainable noise was not fixed, so we went to a different mechanic . The other mechanic found that the failure at SAG didn't do a proper job installing the transmission as he removed stuff inside and underneath the hood and NEVER put the stuff back. The other mechanic also found what was causing the noise originally. A broken engine mount that allowed the engine to bounce around under the hood on hard bumps. $600+ later at the other mechanic in repairs and our vehicle is somewhat drivable . Ever since getting the car back we've noticed a rushing liquid sound in the dash when you accelerate . Wasn't there prior to SAG working on it. We attempted to get recompensated for the repair bill and eventually got on the phone with the owner of SAG. He is by far the most rude piece of human garbage we've ever dealt with. He was extremely condescending, and spoke in a very sexist tone towards my girlfriend. He belitlled her and openly laughed at us on the phone. I do not recommend any type of business with SAG. They should be shut down for all their shady sales. Bad transmissions are a constant in the online reviews. They take advantage of their customers whenever possible. Wondering why the owner replied saying "thanks for the great rating" it's because I was forced to leave it if we wanted our car that was paid off upfront with cash. I guess he forgot people can edit their comments later .

No returned calls, never repaired the we owes.

Bought a WRX here. Had some issues. I agreed upon a price with some we owes on it. Had trouble with emissions. Brought it to them for repairs and we owe. They repaired one thing, rigged another improper repair to get it to pass emission without a CE light. And never fixed the we owe items. Had to do it myself with the parts they gave me. I had to drive down their twice after purchase and they are bad at returning calls, until they stop returning calls all together. Staff is friendly enough in person. But you should not bring it to them to fix anything. Don't take any we owes, and if it fails any emissions make them take the car or have your own people fix it. And if you don't know what to look for make sure to have a different inspection done by the dealer before purchase. I have the engine out of the car now doing the head-gaskets because they bypassed the oil cooler to save on repairs.

The ABSOLUTE WORST car buying experience

This was the WORST car buying experience that I have ever had. We purchased a 2009 Subaru Outback. We were told the car was inspected and was the best car on the lot. We drove the car approximately 5 miles and it started to make a loud grinding noise. We immediately took the car to our mechanic only a few miles away. They determined that the transmission was bad. I called the dealership and explained the problem. The owner told me that there was nothing wrong with the car and accused us of "running into something". I put my mechanic on the phone with him to explain the problem. The owner said that he would have someone come and get the car and that they would look at it. After several phone calls over a few days time i went into the dealership. I asked for the owner and I was told that he "stepped out". The salesman that I had been working with said " A wild animal must have gotten in the car because your car STINKS!!" They were unwilling to listen to me and said that I was only having buyers remorse and that there was no problem with the car. I did regret ever doing business them for sure. I called a male friend to come to the dealership and help me. Only then did they even acknowledge that there might be a problem. Long story short, after 3 weeks of getting the run around from them, hoping that they would actually help, I had the car towed and repaired at my expense
