LOVE our new car!

We were treated great at Toyota of Bristol. Our salesman, Corey was wonderful and worked hard for us. This was our 2nd visit to purchase. The first time we visited, we really didn't find the car we were looking for. We visited several other dealerships over the next few weeks and ended up going back there because we really liked Corey and decided to look there again and this time found a car that was perfect for us and again Corey was great and got us a deal that we were happy with. Other dealerships (I won't mention names) acted like they weren't interested in selling even though they had a car I was very interested in, I had no trade and had $5000.00 to pay down. Crazy I thought but that was their choice as well as their loss. I would definitely recommend Toyota of Bristol. We also bought my husband's truck there and will for sure shop there again.

Rude Adviser

I got my oil changed the other day, and when I went to pay for it after they were done, I handed the worker a coupon that I had. His response was, "You should have given this to me earlier, because now I have to go change xyz. It would have been easier for both of us if you had done that." First of all, there was absolutely NO REASON that he should have talked to me that way. I had no idea that coupons should be given ahead of time. I did apologize to him, but he was pretty disgruntled about the situation. I didn't say anything back to him, except thank you when I paid. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back to Toyota of Bristol to get our car worked on again.

Suggest repairs not needed.

Recently requested a repair that was caused according to another dealer mechanic by the mechanic at Bristol Toyota. They busted a seal while installing a left front axle that Bristol said needed to be replaced when I cut a boot when I ran over a shovel. Only the boot should have been replaced according to another mechanic. They attempted to get my permission to have my brakes immediately replaced due to wear. I had them replaced at a local repair shop who questioned me as to why I was getting my brakes replaced when they still had plenty of wear left. The advisor at Bristol Toyota was very disrespectful and in a loud voice told me to GO! when I requested his name and to see the Service Manager. I felt threatened by his actions and the way he treated me. The service manager said the seal leak was not a result of a previous repair but another Toyota mechanic said it was. I will not return!

No stress, no mess, and honest service from Jacob Kopp.

Over two weeks of searching, researching, stressing, dealing with traffic, almost getting hit by several people (there were more than 3 people who had almost hit us on test drives, to include one as we were turning onto Grove park drive literally when were about to pull into the dealership lot in the Camry my mom decided on buying.), looking, whittling it down, going here, there, and everywhere. We finally decided on which of the last 3 best Toyota's my mom liked. 2 were at the Bristol Yota dealership and 1 was at the JC dealership, needless to say, the selling point for us was Jacob Kopp at the Bristol Toyota dealership, with his positive, straightforward, pleasant, no bs, no pushy attitude, and his attention to detail. My mother spoke very highly of Jacob after our first encounter, she said she only wanted to deal with him if we went back to look some more. The last best 2 were a black 16 Corolla S and a blueish 17 Camry SE. Needless to say, the Camry was a better deal all the way around for her. After a night of discussing and sleeping on it, mom felt strongly positive about the Camry. Well, this afternoon she finalized the deal and she is now a proud owner of a 2017 Camry SE, her second Toyota, first-ever sunroofed vehicle. The three days we dealt with Jacob my mother felt no pressure, she felt relaxed and she even told me she didn't have a headache during or after dealing with the staff at Bristol Toyota. That alone was a great thing as she had felt terrible after buying her Nissan Versa from a popular dealership in Kingsport a few years prior due to their pressuring tactics and their rushing her. I myself am a difficult person to impress and to please, but the staff we dealt with at Bristol Toyota did a good job of doing both. I can say for both my mother and me, we highly recommend Bristol Toyota and Jacob Kopp for his awesome help and patience dealing with us and the 379 questions I had.

Service

Horrible customer service in the service center service took 3 hours to balance tires. Service writer was a jerk. After one week. The wheel weights came off again. Also paid cash for truck they sent the title to bank. Saying it had a lien on it. Will not be going back again. Taking to Johnson city for warranty. Work

Stress free!

Everyone was helpful but not pushy at all! Over all experience was great. I will return here (even though not the closest to me) for maintenance because they were friendly and helpful. I love my new 4 runner!
