I bought a car from Angel and after the sale there was an issue with the hatch door. I live in east Texas and they were true to their word to fix it and they even let me get it fixed in my home town instead of having to drive 3 hours back to Austin to have it fixed there. They are great to work with. I would definitely go back to buy another car there!

On 08-20-19, I along with my wife, traveled to Austin Texas, to look at a 2013 Range Rover at Austin Auto Brokers( AAB). We met with Alex , who treated us very well. I had been looking forward to buying my " Dream Car" for over a year, as I recently began to recerive my SSI benefits. We drove the car and decided to buy it. We drove it home and immediately took it for an oil change the next day. Immediately after the oil change it was determined that the car had a MAJOR mechanical problem, which was a BAD TIMING CHAIN GUIDE. After talking to numerous specialty repair shops I was advised that this is a Extremely common problem with these Range Rover and assured me that AAB had to have been aware of the issue. I was advised that when this problem begins, many dealerships/repair shops will add engine oil additive so as to significantly reduce the "knocking " sound cause d by the defective timing chain guide. I was also advised that the repairs for this problem would be approx $5000.00. I immediately contacted AAB and spoke to Mr. Peter Planty ( Fianace Manager ). He stated that the 3 month/3000 mile warranty ( WARRANTY SOLUTIONS MANAGEMENT CORPORATION), which is include in the purchase of the vehicle, should take of the problem . My repair shop filed a claim a with this warranty company and was told that I would have to pay a ALL the cost of these repairs up front and that they review the claim after the fact and decide at that point if they would pay part of the cost and deny the claim completely. My repair shop , which is a Range Rover dealership, advised me that this warranty was " the worst they has ever dealt with ". In other words it seems that this warranty is not worth the paper its written on and AAB should not be misleading customers with this false sense of security. At this point in time, my first payment on this " nightmare car " has been made, yet I can NOT even drive it as the timing belt could fail and completely destroy the entire engine. I have had several calls with Mr. Peter Planty and so far nothing has been resolved. I simply can not understand how AAB gets all these great reviews if they seem to be playing " hot potato " with my desperate situation. All talk and NO ACTION. I felt compelled to let other prospective customers know of my situation before buying the next vehicle at AUSTIN AUTO BROKERS. I just dont want anyone else to go through what I am going through. One final message to AAB, its not always about MONEY. Doing the right and fair thing is much more important. You must value TRUST and HONESTY in your business dealing. I hope you get it !!!!
