Great car buying experience! Steve Bennett was extremely personable and accommodating. He did not BS or try to sell us something we didn’t want but made suggestions of comparable options. After we decided on a vehicle for our daughter it then came down to the “negotiation”. Jenni Rish was also a pleasure to work with. No excuses or BS but firm in her negotiation. Did everything she could to get to where we wanted to be with our financing. This is the first car buying experience I’ve had where I walked away feeling like I was treated fairly and a good deal for all was made. I will definitely buy another vehicle from Autostar if I can have the pleasure of working with Steve and Jenni again. Thanks guys!!!

I live in Northern California and had been on a quest to find a gently used Toyota Tacoma. I decided to expand my search nationwide through the Carfax site. I saw the exact truck I wanted at AutoStar of Sylva. And the price was so much lower than similar trucks near where we live. I sent an email inquiry about the truck and I received a response from Brooke Banks within minutes. I called her and told her my idea of buying the truck and having it shipped to us. She told me that was absolutely possible and then emailed me a purchase agreement and overnighted the papers to fill out and sign. There was no haggling over the price of the truck and no hidden fees. They even gave me an internet sale price which was a few hundred dollars less than the listing price. I had a mobile mechanic come there and check the truck out for my peace of mind since I couldn’t be there. And it checked out great with an A. Brooke and Shane made the process of buying a truck out of state easier than I ever imagined. I didn’t even have to leave my house except to go to the UPS store to mail back documents and to the bank to get a cashiers check. Brooke and Shane were honest and polite and it was always great to hear their southern accents when we spoke on the phone. We don’t get to hear that often here in California. Shane was in constant communication with me throughout the buying process and quickly answered any questions I had. I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from AutoStar again. I saved thousands of dollars buying from them.

I had been looking for a new truck for several weeks and Auto Star of Sylva had a Toyota Tundra on their website that I was interested in test driving. From my first interaction with Amanda and Shane I was impressed with their professionalism and customer service...they were not pushy salespeople like other places I had recently visited. The test drive process was simple and friendly. The Tundra turned out to not be what I wanted. So they told me about a Dodge RAM which was similar in description to what I told them I was shopping for. They were right. My search for a new vehicle ended right there. They allowed me an extended test drive which was a first for me and that reinforced my decision. Amanda is perfect at what she does and she was amazing to work with. I work in customer service and I don’t normally do reviews but I feel the need to praise Amanda, Shane and the entire staff at Auto Star including the people I spoke with at their Hendersonville location that set up my test drive and called to make sure everything went well. I am very happy to have gone to this location for a test drive and even happier to have bought my truck from them. I would recommend them to anyone and I certainly would do business with them again.
