I was looking for a new RAV4 Hybrid and decided to look in Elmira where I have family. I was prepared to pay cash for the car. I spoke with the internet specialist, Allison Stuart who was helpful in the beginning, followed up with me and notified me of any new RAV4's being sent to their dealership. On Nov 8th she emailed me that a RAV4 Hybrid was coming in and AVAILABLE. It was everything I wanted on the car, color and accessories. I told her I wanted it Nov 8th in the morning. She asked for the VIN # on my trade in to get me a price. I waited all day for a call back for my trade in value. Around 4pm she emailed me "there was a pending deposit on the car and it is sold" I couldn't believe it. In the morning the car is available to buy but by the afternoon sold under me. I contacted the General Manager, James Oppedisano, the following day and explained what had transpired. He told me he would look into it and get back to me. He never got back to me. Horrible experience and dishonest dealership. BEWARE

Beyond expectations!
I asked the service department to order a replacement part for my Prius. It arrived and I went over to pick it up. To my dismay and embarrassment when I went to place it where it belonged on the car I discovered that I didn't need it in the first place. I took it back to the service department and asked if I could return it and get it credited back on my credit card. The service manager had to get involved, and even though the part involved was not able to be returned, he did authorize the credit. I was amazed that he'd approve the credit, and promised that I'd write a good review as a token of my appreciation. I've learned that every service organization can suffer a bad experience in trying to satisfy a customer, I was prepared for the worst and got the best.

Was completely ripped off
Van was towed in and called them ahead and said I think the started has gone bad. They call me after they get the van and say 'they think the starter had gone bad and they might need to replace the alternator'. I ask why the battery is always fully charged. I had already checked it. 'Oh OK I guess we might not have to do that then.' Calls back about an hour later. 'When was the last time you had the timing belt replace?' I don't know, how much is that going to run. OK fine you can replace them. Calls back a 3rd time, 'All the breaks and routers and drums need replace they are completely shot.' That's interesting I just had it in to another garage about a month or 2 ago and they said the back were fine for quite a while and the front had at least 6 moths to a year left. 'Well I guess the back are not gone but I recommend the front'. OK how much, fine do the front. Go to pick car up to what I think is a little over a$1000, nope over $2000 and they did a bunch of other stuff I never agreed to like flushing the radiator and replacing the radiator pump. Remember me saying I had it in another garage about a month or 2 ago to have it worked on. It was to have the pump and rotator flushed. If you want to be completely ripped off, this is the place you should take your vehicle. They will replace every thing (if it needs it or not) and charge you inflated prices.

They are great at selling vehicles, but when it came to needing service, they have very poor practices. I purchased the vehicle from them in 2018, had the computer repair number for the problem my car currently has, and they would not tell me if the problem was under warrantee. "Their repair people needed to inspect the vehicle and if the repair was under warrantee, there would not be a fee, but if it was not under warrantee there would be a $125.00 fee" - just to let me know the information I already know about the car's issue!!! I believe this to be an unethical practice and will never purchase another vehicle from them because of it.

Great Experience
My salesman Ray was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to show me the features of several different cars I was interested in which helped me make the right purchase for my needs. The other staff was also friendly from the sales manager to the finance person. Great experience.

Always greeted as a friend and customer - Mike Saxe listened to what I was interested in and suggested another vehicle for my son. Ron Bush handled the actual sale and delivery of both vehicles and did a great job as well.

Friendly, courteous staff. Advised me correct timing. Serviced my vehicle at appointment time scheduled. Explained what was done and provided paperwork showing work completed.
