The service department at this dealership is rude, unhelpful, unprofessional and they treat customers like they are not knowledgeable about their own vehicles when they are. I was quoted 880$ for a installation of UCA's that were under recall from the manufacturer. I then called the local dealer of the lift kit (UCA's and ball joints) on my truck and was quoted 400$ less for the replacement labor and they even expressed concern about this dealership not inspecting for further damage or planning to do so before throwing an estimate at me. This could have caused more damage and potentially causing danger to myself while driving as they did not offer to inspect what damage could have been done by the failed part. Service advisor Travis was rude and continued to speak over me when I was explaining to him what the issue was and what the manufacturing of the part had told me. They also lied to me and stated that I do not have a Toyota manufacturing warranty when I am still under the 60000 mile warranty for the drive train. While the drive train is not the issue, this dealership did not take time to give correct information to a customer. I highly recommend finding a toyota specific mechanic in Bend before taking your Toyota to this dealership for any repair. I also would double check any warranty you buy from this dealership or if you have to take your vehicle to this dealership and have a warranty that states it will cover costs because this dealership will not work with you.

Purchasing a new car is supposed to be a fun and exciting
Purchasing a new car is supposed to be a fun and exciting experience. However, depending on the salesperson, this experience can be ruined by a greedy and rude salesman. While trying to find the right vehicle without the hassle of driving to the dealer, I mistakenly looked through the Kendall website and requested information on a 2025 RAV4. Shortly after, I received a call from Derik Pulver, who was initially very pleasant and helpful. Since the vehicle advertised online was unavailable, we discussed three possible scenarios on how to obtain the car I was interested in. I agreed to pay a deposit on one of the vehicles, but it was unclear which one I was making a deposit on. The second day, I received a text from Derik, which I perceived as rude, as he demanded I sign the deposit via the link he had previously texted. Having doubts about which car I was paying the deposit for, I called the dealer to speak to Derik. During our short conversation, I could tell Derik was annoyed by my questions and condescending with his answers. He proceeded by hanging up the phone mid-conversation when I pressed him on his attitude. I contacted the dealer to speak to a manager. Dillon Fulks, another sales consultant, lied about being the manager and tried to downplay the situation as a "minor hiccup." It is a shame that a great experience was stained by two guys trying to make a sale without considering the customer's experience. These people forget that it is their job to answer questions as often as necessary until the customer is satisfied. I will be taking my business elsewhere because Kendall of Bend needs to realize that they are not the only dealer where people can turn to purchase a vehicle, especially when dealing with mediocre and deceptive customer service. I definitely dodged a bullet!!

Joe Harrison was an excellent sales associate.
Joe Harrison was an excellent sales associate. We went through a few trucks on test drives and then with what I wanted in a deal I went home with an awesome truck! The whole staff was excellent and made sure that I was welcome there and had anything I might need. We started at 3:30 and I left with the new rig at 7:30, nobody complained and made sure that the detail shop was doing their thing while we were doing paperwork. The whole experience was great, better than any other new or used vehicle purchase and it wasn’t even their brand! I can’t say enough about Joe, respectful, honest, entertaining and I am thinking with his customer skill set I should steal him for my own business!

Could not have been a worse experience unless I came home
Could not have been a worse experience unless I came home from car shopping with some kind of disease. I filled out an online interest form seeking information about a specific new vehicle. Due to working swing shift, I left a specific request for afternoon contact and included my phone number. The next morning, they called MY WIFE at a phone number I did not provide which they had leftover from a prior service visit. They asked her if I was shopping. My wife already knew I was in the market, but that already sent up red flags. Once I was up and called them back, we discussed the vehicle and price - which was already over MSRP. I asled about included options to justify the price and was told there were some and I'd be sent a spec sheet by email. A few minutes later, the spec sheet comes through with a price that is $2,500 MORE than what we talked about and more than advertised. This is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules governing car dealership advertisements. I told the salesman I felt he was negotiating in bad faith and I still wasn't happy about the unwelcomed call to my wife. He got snarky and told me he'd sell this vehicle in 24hrs if I didn't want it and that I'd look back and regret it. We told him we'd never do business with Kendall Bend. A sales manager called me a few days later and had the nerve to try to sell me the same $80k+ vehicle at the advertised price/the price they originally offered me as if that was some kind of huge concession. The price is now even higher in their online ad, some $7.5k or more over MSRP. Avoid.

Wanted to provide some feedback after recent service on
Wanted to provide some feedback after recent service on my 2021 Venza with 50,000 miles. Received several recommendations for items that "Requires Immediate Attention" on my multi-point inspection form". It appears that 3 are items that must be on a Kendall recommended service (ie: Dealer Money Maker) that is above and beyond the Toyota Maintenance Intervals. It appears that all 3 were for items that likely were not even manually checked / observed at the time of service. As an example, the cabin air filter was listed as needed replacement, even though it was replaced by me recently, and after checking it again today, appears to be brand new. I've lost a LOT of respect for Kendall dealer maintenance, and their recommendations.

Toyota replaced 2 wheel bearings on my vehicle recently,
Toyota replaced 2 wheel bearings on my vehicle recently, bringing my Lexus back to the silent, smooth-running car I remembered. I soon detected a light metal rattle occurring at turns & bumps, however, that started to increase in frequency. Thinking it might be related to the bearings work just completed, I returned to the shop. Chris, Toyota’s lead mechanic, took a quick drive, deciphered the problem, and in no time, the repair was made. Toyota didn’t charge me for the work, & my Lexus runs again like new! Thank you, Chris, for your expertise… and to all of you, for the great work you do!

Derik Pulver Is the man!
Derik Pulver Is the man!!! I told him exactly what I wanted, and after I found one that caught my eye, he worked with me. I told him that it was going to be an almost 13hr round trip drive from where I live in Washington and he offered to drive it to Portland for me to test it. I bought it on the spot!! Definitely better and more knowledgeable than the salesmen at ALL the Toyota dealerships in Washington state.
