Price looked fair until they added in all the extra fees!

Price looked fair until they added in all the extra fees! Mandatory warranty fee that was way out of line. My husband was a dealer and walked out! We drove over an hour each way to find this out. Buyer beware!

Raised price just because?

Posted a car for 17k, when I was willing to go see the car and said I was willing to buy raised the car to 22k, staff is very friendly answered all my questions and made everything clear, however management was the one that "raised the price" definately something sketchy going on with this dealer.

Service rip-off

Mechanic told me I needed to replace my battery in order to finish the work on the vehicle. I didn't want to buy a new battery cause I had a two year warranty on it. Mechanic said he had it on the lift with the wheels off already and if I didn't replace it, he would have to take it off the rack and didn't know when he could get back to it. I drove 20 miles to pull the battery out myself and put in on a charger I brought with me. It wasn't bad, just needed charged. I went to try and start it and noticed the the key was turn forward. You guys tried to pressure me to replace a battery that was just fine and was drained do to having the ignition on. I left with my vehicle without having the $1,100 dollars worth of work done. I was charged $200 dollars and had no work done on my vehicle. If I can't trust you with my battery, I'm not going to trust you with a big job.

Mike, We are happy to know you are pleased with the level of customer service provided to you during your purchasing experience. Should you have any future vehicle needs, LaBelle Ford is always here to help.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Price listed is not the actual price. They do a bait and switch when they show you the break down. They add $5000 extra to the price of items that you don't need but you're stuck paying for it. Manager said I should have read the small print on the website. Great way to speak to a cancer patient that drove an hour to get there to buy a car for her daughter that is 16. The website does not state any of lojack, warranty, key fees. They thought they can swindle me once my husband left the room. The Attorney General should get involve with this (SHACK) dealership especially reading all of these reviews and see a lot of people went through the same thing. Shame on them.

Made an appointment with the service department for warranty service. Appointment was for Tuesday but they suggest that I bring it on Monday. Brought the car in Monday afternoon. Waited until Thursday at 4:30 PM and called them. Car had not been in the shop yet. No calls with update! I will never go back to this dealership for service or anything else! Seems like a bait and switch to me!

Waist of time!!! Don’t even begin to think what they list the car for is close to what they want to sell it for. They advertise low and then charge $3,000 - $5,000 more in hand written fees!!!! “Shop, perma plate, theft and key replacement”????! What is this? Really??!! How they are still operating? This is crazy! Glad I didn’t drive there. Look at listed price online. (In picture). The sale price is already changed to a higher amount. Then added fees, fees and some other fees. If you read the reviews, the fees are even different prices. But the lady told me they charge the $3,426 (hand written fee) to everyone!! Then they charge the “state fees”. I have never seen this so I am surprised anyone does business with them.

My daughter purchased her first vehicle on her own a 2021...

My daughter purchased her first vehicle on her own a 2021 Ford Explorer(11-1-21). This was the owners daughter vehicle which was supposed to be a demo car. She drives an hour and a half to this dealership to look at this vehicle. You would've thought they knew she was coming so they would have it ready but no. They get there and the inside has a huge white mark on ceiling, dirty on the inside. No one bothered to clean it. Alex the sales guy the only one that seemed to care told her he would get it cleaned up. So then she is shuffled into the finance guys office, Mike Bickell. My daughter said I need to send copies of everything before I sign to my mom. He told her know it is all good he will do it. Well that is because he was over there telling her that she needed all these extra things. They tacked on a couple thousand in extra charges. Such as key replacement($529.00), gap insurance($950.00), perma plate($899.00), and theft/kahu ($599.00) for a total of $2,977.00 in unnecessary fees. She thinks Mike Bickell is going to send me everything like he said cause she was being intimidated by him. The contract also had a lower mileage listed than what was actully on the car. Then she goes to leave and has to put gas in it and half way on her way back home the oil light comes on. So they never did an oil change couldn't even fill up the vehicle with gas since before sending her off. She shows me the vehicle. No owners manual inside the car. So I call the next day to tell them all of this. They try to tell me they can't remove the extras. So I call corporate ford at 800-392-3673 and let them know how shady this dealership truly is. Ford corporate opens a report, I open a report with the FTC. I find out the corporate office for LaBelle Ford is owned by Plattner Automotive Group. I contact Janice Bondeson who is very sweet probably best person they have there. I explain everything to her and tell her if they don't fix the probably I would be going to the news station next. Well they end up calling me and removing all the charges but the stipulation is my daughter has to drive back over to LaBelle. So I make sure I can be with her this time. We both leave work early to make the drive. The general manager, Jason Katz states he has the contract ready to go for her to sign and he will fill her tank and get her oil changed. Well because we showed up later in the night the shop was closed for the night. So I explain to him my issues. I tell him she has an oil change schedule by our home with a Ford dealership he said no problem I'll reimburse her. So we send him in the mail the receipts(oil change $57.83) thinking he would do the right thing. A couple weeks goes by and nothing. So we send it to him in a email. He responds with "got it". So I am thinking he is going to send her a check. Now it's has been 7 weeks and nothing. So we email Plattner Automotive Group and the general manager together about it with his response. It has been over a week and nothing. Now two months later nobody is saying a word in response and nothing has come in the mail. So I am letting you know DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. What they are doing is unethical. They are taking advantage of people. They own a few dealerships in Florida under different names. Just google Plattner Automotive Group and I would recommend stay far away from them. Hope my review helps warn others. This dealership needs to be investigated. If they have wronged you please call corporate Ford open a complaint, contact the FTC, contact Florida attorney General, news stations don't stop until they are stopped.

Do NOT purchase from this dealership!

I purchased a new Ford f150 from Labelle Ford in October. It broke down on the interstate 2 1/2 weeks after I picked it up. I had it towed to the closest dealership which was Sam Galloway Ford. Sam Galloway fixed the vehicle and were complete ladies and gentleman with me. To make a long story short I ended up working directly with Ford Motor Company, which enacted the lemon law. When I went to turn it in and pick up a new truck at Labelle Ford I was told they couldn't get me a loan for the new truck, and they Labelle Ford did NOT accept outside financing. The only reason for that in my mind is they DONT get a kickback if they allow you to go through other financing besides there own. After I left there I called the credit union they went through and turned down my load. The Credit Union loan dept. Told me the reason they turned me down was because the dealership tacked on approx. $4,000 in negative equity plus dealer fees. Mind you they made money including dealer fees on the orginal truck I purchased 2 months ago. When I called to speak to Jason, the General Manager (whomever I was dealing with all this time) he was rude talked over me and would NOT let me finish what I was saying to him, instead he loudly talked over me. Then he had the nerve to hang up on me. I never yelled at him, I spoke to him in a normal tone other then when he was speaking over me I had to talk louder them him so he could hear me. If your looking to buy a new or used Ford I would recommend you go anywhere other then Labelle Ford. This guy is a out and out crook for what he was trying to do to me.
