It was a struggle coming to terms on my recent HHR SS
It was a struggle coming to terms on my recent HHR SS Purchase. I waited a while for the price to drop to where I felt it was fair for the Market Value. Alex in Sales, was awesome, really worked with me on getting things lined up for the deal, but failed on one point not explaining that given any discount negated the 4,000 mile warranty on the car when going through the final purchase process online remotely. That did cost me plenty on my end after getting this car. It was checked out down there by an Independent garage on my dollar of course. MAC did address some of the issues found, but others were not resolved as asked for including a properly functioning Remote Start on the FOB. A new one was acquired and programmed, but it only worked the locks. Turns out there was a hidden Check Engine issue that didn't pop up until I'd gotten the car and it was driven about 50 miles. Why, I don't know. But the car had a bad Mass Air Flow Sensor, and Carbon Cannister and Fuel Vent Lines that were totally clogged so it was almost impossible to pump gasoline into the tank. It took me nearly $1,900 dollars in extra expense to make this car the way I wanted it delivered in the first place. Plus the features for Remote Start and Foglamps needed reprogrammed into the cars Body Control Computer. Transportation to my place was arranged, but failed to consider I lived in a residential neighborhood. The shipper had to deliver the car to a Walmart Parking lot for me to take delivery. That wasn't a good thing either. I do have a great looking running without issue HHR SS NOW, it wasn't worth what MAC sold it to me for in the actual condition it was in. Perhaps they didn't truly know of it's full issues, I don't know for sure. So it's hard to make a real evaluation on this dealership because of that. To Alex, I think he really tried to get me squared away with a ready to go great car. It fell short sadly. But I do enjoy the car now that it is corrected to be what it should have been sold for in the first place. Used Cars, SOLD AS IS, but that mistake on the warranty, not informing me it got taken off for the internet discount Alex cost me a lot.

Alex is not the best salesman ever, he's the best car and driver advocate ever. The man put my needs in a vehicle ahead of profit. John is a financial whiz kid and explained everything in a way that could be easily understood. These guys are great. They're winners and I'll be back again when we need a car. I'll definitely recommend your dealership to anyone who needs transportation.

Dealership told me that everything was great with the
Dealership told me that everything was great with the vehicle mechanically. Vehicle was delivered and immediately noticed there was a ticking coming from the engine and was low 2 quarts of oil. Turns out the valve cover is leaking, the valve cover gasket, has an issue with the lifters as well. I have sent them multiple messages and they just tell me to use the warranty that I bought and get it fixed. I have asked the manager to call me several times and left voice messages to call me and no one has ever called me back. They said they will tell Dave and let me know what he says and again they don’t respond. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in their customer service. I was also told that they were sending me a temp plate until my new one arrives, temp plate came with the car, but when asking where my new plate is, now they tell me I have to go and get it and but it myself. Car had to go into the shop immediately after receiving it. I would not trust them at all and especially if they claimed they inspected the car and everything is great. Avoid this dealer!!

The guys were very friendly, interacted really well with
The guys were very friendly, interacted really well with my 14 year old son, bought a 2012 Ford Raptor, left feeling good with it to be transported to where I was from, 150 miles. Never was transported for a week, neighbor took me a week later to get my truck. Left Midwest Automitive, went 2 blocks up street to gas station, as I was filling it up my son said dad, thr trucks smoking, then he said it's on fire. The engine compartment caught fire, put it out with gas station fire extinguisher, it was loaded on a rollback, took back down the street to Midwest for them to tell me a few days later, you need to file a claim with your insurance. I know they didn't no more than me expect it to catch fire, but just as soon as I pulled away from their lot and they didn't feel the need to at least help fix it, that's as xxxxty as it gets. Sorry I went out of state to buy a vehicle, sorry I went to Midwest Automotive Connection!!!!
