Buying was made easy....
We were immediately welcomed onto the lot . We weren't told to leave 'our vehicle' at a gate in order to shop on their lot .... like we were told to do at another of the local dealerships recently. We were encouraged to test drive anything we thought we might be interested in. We were given immediate answers to our questions and there was never any pressure to choose anything at any time.

Great service
This review is for service. We recently bought a used Nissan from a Dalton dealership and after a month started having issues. A couple of dealerships basically turned us away for service. I called Nissan of chatt east and got appt the next day. We made a few trips to Chattanooga while they were getting to the problem. A special thanks to Mike McIntyre who stayed with us until it was taken care of. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and go out if their way to make you comfortable. Thanks again Nissan of chatt east!

Would advise you to be cautious
I would not recommend Nissan of Chattanooga East at this time. When I bought my car, I was asked if I wanted to purchase an extended warranty. I was hesitant, but I was told that it would anything that needed to be done to the car would be covered, so being a single mom of 3 kids and knowing I would not have the money to cover any repairs, I bought the warranty. My car had water leaking inside on the passenger side and I was not aware. I took my car to the dealership and they advised me that the drain was clogged and would not allow the water to drain out. I was told that the reason that it was clogged was because I did not have a cabin filter in my car. I then found out that a cabin filter is not standard for the Nissan Versa. I also found out that the warranty I was given was only for mechanical issues. I was not given the warranty that covers everything. The clear coat on my car has been gone and the paint has been chipping off in places. After the last time I took my car in for repairs, when I got it home, I had a big spot of paint missing, but since I didn’t have picture, I couldn’t prove that it was done at the service department. I had to take it in for some other repairs as well as for my oil change. They asked for approval on things that needed to be done, and I declined all but my oil change . When we picked up the car, they did not charge me anything and then later that day, I get a call from the ser center asking for payment. I explained to them that there were services done on my car that I did not approve. After looking into it further, they were able to see that I had declined and so they wanted to make a deal with me and wanted me to pay for the parts so that they would not be at a total loss. I agreed and actually paid them more than they were asking because I was given a service and I didn’t want them to be at a big loss. The other day, on ,y way home, a young lady was broken down on the side of the road. I stopped to help her and she did not have a jack or tools. I went to get mine out of my trunk and when I pulled up the flooring to expose the tire, the bottom was full of water, so now my trunk is leaking. Then a couple of days later, my ac is leaking inside my car again. Since I was told on my service trip that the previous issue was due to no cabin filter, I was like, I may need to change the one replaced 2 years ago. I bought a new filter and changed it myself. The other filter was not very dirty but was soaking wet. The new filter did not stop the water from leaking like last time. I called Nissan North America and explained everything to them and they told me I was 1 day past my warranty and to call the dealership and be persistent with them and remind them that they sold me the wrong warranty and if they refuse to do the work or have it covered under the warranty then I could call them back and see if they would be willing to make a goodwill effort in getting the issue resolved. I called and did as I was asked and I was told that I would need to bring it in for evaluation. I received a call this morning and I was told that the AC drain was clogged again. Not sure how it took 4 years the first time with no filter and this last time it took 2 years with a filter, but that is what I was told. I was then told that the seal on the trunk is damaged and that was the reason my trunk was leaking and finally my paint did not qualify to be covered under warranty because someone has altered the paint and the bumper has been repainted and therefore they could not do anything. I advised that I bought the car brand new and it has never been wrecked, so if that is true, it has not had those things done while I had the car and so it had to be from when they had it before I bought it. He was shocked to hear that but still refused to do anything about it. I called Nissan North America then to see if they would do any goodwill gesture. I was told they would not do anything.

Run from this dealership
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Run from this crooked dealership. I will never deal with Nissan again. Spent my entire afternoon there with the intention of trading my vehicle and buying a new Rogue. The normal back and forth negotiations took place with Mike and we agreed on terms. I clarified with him multiple times the amount. I made out the check, paperwork was signed with the finance person and it was time to pay the balance and it was $6000.00 more than we agreed on. The finance person called Mike/salesperson into the office and he clarified what he had originally told us. Mike and the finance person went back and forth with each other and then finally said, oh we must have made a mistake. You owe us $6000 more. Then tried to get us to finance the rest. Total waste of time and energy and total scam. Run from this dealership.

Buyer beware!
