I bought my second vehicle from Ballweg in February. I am very happy about my experience. They did a great job helping me with the financing part. My Chevy Equinox looked great and they spent a lot of time making sure I knew everything about my vehicle before I left.

I had an appointment for what was planned to be my third...
I had an appointment for what was planned to be my third attempt to have my truck serviced at Balweg but after my discussion with the service adviser it became obvious that I need to find a different company for vehicle service. My first interaction with Balweg was while my truck was under warranty and it didn't start one morning. It was in for a total of four times before they found the correct solution. Each of the three initial times it had to be towed in, they told me they fixed it and it was all set. The next morning was the same thing, wouldn't start. My second experience with Balweg was an oil change. They told me that it needed a front end alignment and two tires. I had them do both and after leaving I found four loose lug nuts. They said if I brought it back in they would correct but I seemed smarter to tighten the lug nuts before driving any further so I did it myself. Today was the third time I tried to use Balweg. I called last week to make an appointment and scheduled it for this afternoon. I asked them to change the oil, check the brakes, check the front end alignment, and look the truck over for anything it needs. The service writer told me they don't check alignments, they just do it. This seemed strange since they charge $70 for an alignment. What if it's not needed? They had the same response when I asked about checking the brakes in that they told me it would cost $20 to check the brakes. I was a surprised a Chevrolet dealer would charge for an inspection. Lastly I was asked what else they would like me to check so they could tell me how much those inspections would cost. Are all service stations charging to inspect vehicles and tell you what needs to be done?

I have been on a search some time for a Chevy Trail...
I have been on a search some time for a Chevy Trail Blazer with the third row seat option. While searching the internet recently I found one on Ballweg's website. Not only did it have the third row seat option it was in immaculate condition and only had 35,000 miles for a 2004. We hurried in to check it out. It hadn't been through safety yet, but our sales person (Joe Morgan) took us for a test drive of the vehicle. We loved it and put in an offer on the vehicle. Joe made the process painless as did Ken (used car manager). We traded in our mini-van as well and we received a fair value on our trade and negotiated a fair price on the trail blazer. I highly recommend Ballweg for your new or used car purchase. Very impressed with their staff and their dealership. I look forward to an ongoing business relationship with them!

On my 2011 Chevrolet Cruze LT, I had approximately about 41997 miles on my ODO.I was from out of town all the way from St.Louis visiting the greater Madison area. Well while going at highway speeds the car was doing good. When i reached the bottom of the off ramp at Gammon Rd @ US 12/18 i came to a stop. when the light changed and i hit the gas the car would not speed up it was just crawling, the (Reduced Engine Power!) light came on as well as the (Check Engine) light too. I went to the dealer and they loaned me a loaner vehicle, they called later that night to tell me it was the (Throttle Positioning Sensor) that failed the repair would have cost around $475. However i was under warranty still so i paid nothing for the towing, rental, repair. The reason why i recommend this dealer is they were helpful, polite, eager to help and fix the problem. I did receive wonderful fast and responsive service. For some one from out of town i highly recommend them! In fact they are better than my dealer back home.

My experience leasing a 2013 Volt was my best car...
My experience leasing a 2013 Volt was my best car negotiation ever because of the attention given by Sales and Leasing Consultant Tom Lenling; by Finance Manager Rich Kamm; and by Customs Relations Manager Kiley Davidson. Tom Lenling, cyclist, coach, father, and superlative Leasing Consultant, listened carefully to my specifications and then aggressively fulfilled every detailed specification. Rich Kamm expedited the lease process with the aim of meeting my needs first, and eliminated unnecessary solicitations for add-ons to the contract. Kyley Davidson meticulously instructed me on all the details of the Volts technology, in an unhurried and uninterrupted manner, providing me with comprehensive information needed for driving, utilization, and maintenence of my Volt. As with Tom and Rich, Kiley advised me on what was best for me as she worked with me to set up OnStar, XM, phone service, bluetooth, and phone apps useful for my Volt. Tom, Rich, and Kiley, all made my needs as client the most important part of the contract which we negotiated. They all continue to be available to me for the follow-up that I may need. I give them the highest marks for their attention to detail in meeting my needs. Great work, friends. I highly recommend you to others who want their transportation needs fulfilled in the most efficient and pleasant manner. Well done, Ballweg Chevolet. I compliment Owner Darlene Ballweg, introduced to me, for the unsurpassed caliber and professionalism of her staff at Ballweg Chevrolet, Middleton. Thank you, Your friend and client, Paul

I went to several dealerships looking for a Chevrolet Malibu specifically. Ballweg Chevrolet had one that was perfect for me, exactly what I wanted so I moved quickly. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. They worked hard to get me a loan wtihout a cosigner and helped me set up my OnStar and AutoArmor appointments. I strongly recommend Ballweg Chevrolet to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, new OR used!

I was referred to this dealer by the Costco Members Auto...
I was referred to this dealer by the Costco Members Auto Program with the incentive of getting "special pricing." I made an appointment to meet with a salesperson on a Tuesday morning. When I got to the dealership for my appointment I was told that salesman was busy and I had to wait. After wandering the dealership for 15 minutes I finally found a seat, meanwhile there were several other salesmen just standing around. After 20 minutes I was finally able to meet with the salesman. The so called Costco Members low price deal was only $250 less than what their competition offered me up front without any negotiating. After another 30 to 40 minutes of waiting for my trade in to be evaluated and the salesman having to pickup various printouts I was on my way. The dealership tried calling me multiple times the following week but never bothered to leave a message or really even try to earn my business. I decided to go to the competition and got a great price on my new car, plus $1500 more for my trade-in than Ballweg offered me. The original salesman finally decided to email me 2 weeks later asking if I had any questions. When I told him I went to the competition and received a much better price then he decided to call and leave a voicemail to "make a deal." Really lousy experience all the way around as I was made to feel that my time was less valuable than theirs and really didn't care to earn my business. Go to Stark Chevrolet.

I've now purchased 4 cars from 4 different dealerships...
I've now purchased 4 cars from 4 different dealerships over the years and my experience at Ballweg Chevrolet was by far the best. The staff members were friendly and didn't try to aggressively push the sale like I've experienced at other dealerships in the past. More importantly, they didn't employ any gimmicks or try to play any games. They kept their word with respect to financing, pricing, and trade-in value. The entire process was easy and rather quick! Based on my experience I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.
