SKIP THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I would personally suggest that you continue your vehicle search with another dealership and another company. Although we had a great experience with our sales guy Tamer, it took his manager Josh 2 seconds to ruin the deal and everything that we went in for!!! We went in, test drove the car, liked it, then asked for the bottom line cash price. He came out with a mandatory $1000 reselling fee and another almost $7000 in xx warranty and recovery fees that I didn’t even inquire about.!! When I asked him about the $1000, he said it applies to all of their cars, it’s funny it was not disclosed on cars.com. Condescending, arrogant, unprofessional!!!!

Great Experience!

Great Experience!! Customer Service was Great and the vehicle was well kept up with no issues what so ever. Very clean!! I will definitly recommend this dealer for first time buyer and trade ins. To have a good experience i believe in patience, kindness, and respect for all worker's there because it is an all day experience on both sides customer and sales rep and have understanding when purchasing and gettin everythin done for the purchase. Overall, with that being said it is a great place for a vehicle for anyone and everyone. Thank you again for all the above!!

We had a great experience with California Motors Direct

We had a great experience with California Motors Direct Montclair. Luis was very knowledgeable of our vehicle and patient with us as we explored options for financing, extended warranties, etc. Luis and the entire team took extra time to help us with our trade in and getting us a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend shopping here for a vehicle!

Once they had sold me the car, they proceeded to lose the

Once they had sold me the car, they proceeded to lose the keys for over 8 hours, made a faulty replacement key, and then refused to do anything to make up for the entire day being wasted. SPECIFICALLY THE MANAGER JOSH IS A xxxxxxx AND TERRIBLE PERSON TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!!!!

Tamer and Abe are the best salesmen.

Tamer and Abe are the best salesmen. They recently helped me purchase a 2023 Toyota Camry, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Tamer and Abe were knowledgeable about the car, attentive to my needs, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. I had a good experience at the Montclair location.

I had a good experience at the Montclair location. Jonathan helped me throughout the process. He assisted me in getting my 2017 Mustang GT. I would recommend this location for quality cars and great associates to assist you.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Even if you really want the car on their lot!! This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I sadly purchased a fiat500E in march of 2024 from California Motors Direct in Montclair. This was my first car purchase and they really screwed me over. Jonathan was a smooth seller but there were a couple things that were a “mistake.” So, I did plenty of research before I even thought of driving to Montclair - it’s over an hour drive there - so I knew all the specs and history. This was even more important to me since it was my first car purchase. After discussing my findings with my mother, we decided to call them. We told Jonathan that we would come in to look at the car that day but it would be an hour. We arrived and sat with Johnathan. He went to grab the keys to pull the car around but had gotten confused with the keys because they had two almost identical black fiat 500Es - it took him over 30 minutes to figure it out…. Finally, the car pulled around. We looked at the car and the only issue we found was that the front right tire was low. Other than that it was pristine. So we went for a test drive with an associate who led us on a 3 minute route. So - not enough time to feel the car or observe the quality of the battery life since it’s an all electric vehicle. But I’m a small girl doing her first purchase - clearly I was naive. I was happy and so was my mother so we started the buying process with them. Now, I hope you’re still reading because this is where it got interesting. Johnathan came back from checking my credit and placed it in front of me. I’m glad I went through it because they gave me the wrong credit report - it was someone else’s!!!!! As naive and trusting as I was, I told him that this wasn’t my credit report and he got flustered and said his manager gave him the wrong paperwork and that he would go “tell them off.” So I just figured it was a mistake. But after the purchase I realized he not only tried to scam me and make my bill higher, he shared another persons personal information!!!! It was getting late and my mother needed to leave to take care of my dad, who was going through hospice, because another family member had another commitment. So, I was left alone to sign the paperwork. We had been there for almost six hours, it had gotten dark and there was a major storm. Again, being naive and trusting little Lily, I signed where he told me to because the paperwork got confusing. Johnathan gave me the keys got me in my new little black 2019 Fiat 500E and sent me on my way. My phone was dying but I still had a little battery left in a portable charger I had brought with me. Luckily it did have navigation or I would have gotten majorly lost on my way home. While I was driving during a heavy rainstorm at night, I realized BOTH back lights were out so I could have easily been hit. It was 83% charged when I left and it said I have 75+ milespge, so I felt safe knowing I’d be getting home. And I almost did…. Right before my exit it sputtered out on me. I was out in a storm on the side of a freeway with no tail lights and 1% phone battery. Luckily my phone is findable and my location is always showing to my family. I was saved and AAA towed the car a couple miles to my home. Gotta say I wasn’t in a good mood but hey maybe it’s just because it takes more power on the freeway. Once i got it to the house I checked the boot…. Of course it wouldn’t come with a charging cable….. so I had to wait until the next day to acquire the cheapest EV charger I could find which was still over $300. That’s when is started to notice more things… I hope you’re still with me because it just gets worse. I got it fully charged but for some reason with 100% charge the mpge (miles per gallon electric) said only 74 when the standard is 84. I went to drive it and hmmm the backup camera isn’t popping up on my screen. Since I couldn’t get it to work I went to look at the trunk. No camera…………. I was - next post

Horrible, sold me a car that wasn’t ready even tho the

Horrible, sold me a car that wasn’t ready even tho the dealer said it was, after I signed, the told me I can’t take the car because it needed a smog, (after I signed) I called everyday of the week for updates which yelled very little, it has been 2 weeks and I still don’t have my car that I signed for April 5 2024, also don’t trust them if they say they will call back.. they won’t, you have to reach out. They are to busy trying to scam other people.
