Our Toyota Corolla finally broke down after 15 years so we were on our way to Toyota dealership in search of a new car but somehow my husband decided to detour to Universal Nissan to have an idea what Nissan had to offer. Well... we never made it to Toyota dealership, our sales person Yogi knew everything about Toyota and Nissan cars. We fell in love with the Altima and the whole process was very easy. Ive been coming to Universal Nissan for years and never have I experienced more determination in a salesman that I did with Javon. Now, to be clear, this was not an encounter where he would not take no for an answer, this was an encounter where we were truly in a hard spot. We had one main goal, buy a car for my wife so she can build her credit and not break her bank. After looking at a Sentra, a Versa, and a Kicks, he worked his best with the manager to make the sale. At the end of the day, it was too much so we walked away. Later he texted me and said he could work with the manager to get it more affordable. After I told him no, that it was too much, he still kept in touch with me waiting as I tried other options to get her into a car. After a week of communication, I agreed to come back after I decided to put my car as an option for making the deal work. In addition to the first goal, he was now challenged with trying to get two cars where the money was right. After a long string of negotiations, he made the deal work for both of us. At the end of the day, he did his job to a level I have not seen before. Anyone who goes back to the this dealership, ask for Javon. He will work hard for you but never make you feel like he is doing it for the sale.
