Purchased a new 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid from Joe Machen’s

Purchased a new 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid from Joe Machen’s Hyundai in Columbia, MO. a few months ago and needed to take it to service to get mud flaps installed they ordered for me and I must say their service department is very good. Great to work with, got us in and out quickly, gave us a free car wash certificate to Country Club carwash. Their facilities are spotless, and their waiting area gives every other Hyundai Dealership something to aspire towards. Excellent dealership and everyone is so welcoming, friendly, helpful, and polite

Worked with Jason Wolverton at Machens Hyundai. He worked hard at getting us a great deal on a Palisade. All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy a car!

We found the car we want online and I called to speak to a salesman. Rafael Romero made it easy from start to finish. The dealership is clean and everyone was friendly. I Wouldn’t hesitate to buy there again. However, we’re loving this car so we’ll have it for a while.

If less than a one was possible, that’s what I would put.

If less than a one was possible, that’s what I would put. No communication, terrible service, and the worst vehicle we have ever owned. The whole experience has been a disaster. Do not buy a vehicle here.

I bought a used 2017 Lincoln MKZ from Joe Machens Hyundai

I bought a used 2017 Lincoln MKZ from Joe Machens Hyundai in Columbia, MO in November, 2024. I was provided a clean carfax on this car and was told that my car passed inspection with no major issues. They even held onto my car for two additional weeks in their shop to maintenance a few “minor” things before driving it to our home. In January, 2025 (under 90 days of owning the vehicle) I was driving home from my job in Columbia on a busy hwy 63 and was unable to accelerate my vehicle. I was able to pull over on the side of the road and luckily did not cause an accident by my abrupt halt in acceleration. My vehicle had to be towed to a Joe Machens dealership in Jefferson City, MO (still Joe Machens, but near where I live). The dealership inspected my vehicle and told me my transmission was bad. They provided me a picture of the transmission that was worn thin causing it to slip, and stated that I had large amounts of metal in my oil from this. The mechanic sited that this was wear and tear of the transmission and quoted me 8k to fix the issue (this would be around 75% of what I paid for the car). Upon bringing this issue to Joe Machens Hyundai in Columbia, MO - I was aggressively told by Jack Jackson, General Sales Manager, that they held no liability and was not even offered a reduced quote to fix the issue. He was especially unprofessional to my husband who did raise concerns about the state of the transmission prior to purchase and my safety while driving the vehicle. However, my husband never raised his voice, maintained a calming demeanor, and was far more respectful than the man sitting across the desk from us representing Joe Machens Hyundai. Would definitely recommend not buying a used car from this business who obviously values $ over their customers safety. I would also recommend dealing with other leadership aside from Jack Jackson who is all ego with minimal tact and professionalism. I feel so sick to my stomach.

Aaron, Jack and Trey did a excellent job saling me my Santa cruz. They all were very polite and explained everything to us. They went beyond their expectations we appreciated all the help they gave to us. A wonderful crew.

Great place to do business!

Great place to do business! Highly recommend them. Negotiated a good price for me and them. Both side totally satisfied. Mr Ashton was very patient with me he did not apply any unnecessary pressure to make deal. The staff was very respectful and courteous. Thanks guys!
