My son and I bought a beautiful 2017 Audi A4 ten days ago

My son and I bought a beautiful 2017 Audi A4 ten days ago at Hayward Mitsubishi. We had such excellent service from Jose and Eduardo. It was one of the best experiences purchasing a car and it was the 9th car I have bought over my lifetime. When my son was driving the next day, the check engine light came on. I notified Eduardo (on his day off) and he quickly responded and connected me to Ali. Ali is the gentleman in charge. When that light came on, I was nervous that we made a mistake buying the car. My son was supposed to drive the car back to college in Southern California and I didn’t want the car to break down. When I called Ali, he was very patient with me. He assured me that he wanted my son to be in a safe car as well. He had his best mechanic, John, take such great care of us. Over the past few days there were a few things that needed to be sorted out. I was emotional but Eduardo,, John and especially Ali, treated me like family. ( family that you like🤣) They were so patient and kind. So very caring. I can’t say enough about this dealership. It really felt like a friendship ❤️ We are HAPPY customers!!!

Hayward Mitsubishi

Had an outstanding experience purchasing my new Outlander from Hayward Mitsubishi. From start to finish the whole process was outstanding. I was kept updated on when the vehicle would be in stock, and was informed when it was delayed. The sales man was excellent, very knowledgeable, great customer service. The finance person was great to work with, she kept us updated on the process. Everyone at the dealership was great! They are did a wonderful job, I highly recommend Hayward Mitsubishi.

Very disappointed service

Very disappointed experience . My car had a cold start first thing in the mornings, simple fix, right? and the check engine light was on. I spent 7 hours at Hayward Mitsubishi where they promised to have the light off before I left. At the end of the first visit, I was out of $700.00 for inspection without any repair, light was still on. After speaking to the higher up about the problem. He talked me into having a used car inspection $400 additions dollars for a different inspection.This time they determined my car needed a huge amount of work. I went to a different Dealer's Service Department. Who found that the battery was almost dead and draining the life from the car. Beware of Hayward Mitsubishi!

Extremely happy with my purchase

Tommy from Mitsubishi in Hayward was extremely helpful and friendly. Wasn't pushy with the sale and made us feel very comfortable with our purchase. 100% recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

Typical 'advantage seeking' on females.

I'm being gracious with two stars, the only redeeming factors in my experience with this dealership was prompt communication and maintaining a pleasant persona through heated conversation. Other than that, it was a complete fail. I've attached a screenshot of a trade-in quote directly from the Hayward Mitsubishi website for my 2021 Kona, a quote that KBB matches and Carvana also offered to meet. You'll see that my car trades in for 26k at the least. Given the current market, expecting to receive a bottom offer of 26k for my trade-in while the same dealership expects customers to pay premiums for the cars they are currently selling, would be a fair expectation. If they can charge thousands over MSRP because of the hot market right now, they should also reflect that in valuing used cars...especially being that mine is a 2021. So, tell me why Khaled Ali offered me thousands below the bottom value for my trade-in? Here's why. My vehicle is a lease, they have the ability to smoothly get me out of this lease and into a new Mitsubishi. Opportunity bells are ringing! Instead of giving me what my car is worth, Khaled Ali offered me thousands below and then proceeded to flat out lie about what he's selling Kona's for on his Hyundai lot. Khaled said they are selling 2022 models for 28k, I've attached a screenshot of my trim levels going for 30-32k on their lot. When I confronted this with Khaled he spent the better part of 3 emails running in circles with excuses. My simple point with this potential transaction was that they saw an opportunity to capitalize on a convenience for me, latched on, and wouldn't give up until the whole thing fell to bits. Instead of honoring what their site quoted me, carvana, and KBB for my trade-in they expected me to roll over and pay THEIR premiums on new cars while SIMULTANEOUSLY taking a hit for my valuable trade-in. The whole market is hot, WHY would I agree to pay over value for a new car and then take thousands under the value for my vehicle? And to be clear, I never argued the MSRP mark up, I am well aware of the market and know that's just the way it is right now. My point is that it goes for used cars as well. Khaled never made a second offer, never considered any of the negotiations I asked for and matching my cars bottom value is the LEAST he could have done but he refused. Instead, he used several emails to continue a long line of diversions, ploys, and tactics to attempt to justify his bogus deal that only benefitted his dealership. Even after sharing proof of how I wasn't being given the deal I deserve, he proceeded to harp on the 'convenience' he was doing for me by taking my lease off my hands. No Khaled, the right thing to do is to pay me what my car is worth as you expect me to pay what your cars are worth. Unfortunately, I won't be doing business with Hayward Mitsubishi and though these subpar offers may satisfy many uneducated customers, I won't settle for it and will be taking my money elsewhere. Buyer beware.

Kayla, Happy New Year! We hope that you are having a wonderful 1st day of 2022 and that 2022 will be full of happiness and joy. Like we have explained to you before: you had a price for your car that we did not agree to. We had a price for ours, that that you did not agree to. All communications happened via email and you did not visit our store. There were no bait or switch, no "sneaky" negotiation, no tricks, and no game. We simply did not come to agreement on pricing. Sorry xxx dealership

By far the worst experience ever. Wouldn’t recommend buying from them. Too many hidden fees.. go buy from a legit dealership who has their xxxx together.. poorly trained staff poorly managed. And poorly owned..

Don't even think about buying here

Hidden costs included in the quote. Unnecessary credit checks (at the inflated price including the hidden costs) Dishonest and rude to my wife and me. BBB rating is a C and after seeing some of these reviews, I can see they have done and continue to do the same thing to customers. Dealership is 5 years old and I can't imagine them being in business for long.
