Purchased a pick up truck not even a month ago. I have had it to their shop 2 times at tire pros for concerns noise in both front wheel bearings was told there is no concern due to no play in the bearing but both have noticeable ticking sound when spinning wheels off the ground. Rear tps sensor also went bad and they replaced it with no argument. Told them it has a noise from the rear which is a grinding type noise that increases in sound at light throttle. Was called by tire pros and told they had several techs go over the truck and that the noise was normal due to being an older truck. Crock of sh**! I own multiple older trucks and suvs and not one has the noise I have described to them it having. When speaking with the guy on the phone he asked me if I had extended warranty I replied with yes and his response if it gets worse the warranty company will take care of it. So from my experience they don’t stand 100% behind their 6 month 6000 mile warranties especially if they know you purchased an extended warranty. Tire pros being hi lo autos personal shop they hide problems they don’t want to fix at the expense of the car lot in hopes that you hit the 6 month 6000 mile mark and it’s not their problem anymore.

Never buy from here They gave me a Mazda 3 2016 they don’t have you pay directly to them they use Santander which the person on the phone gave me the wrong account number couldn’t get into it to pay my car off so I got a repo for it plus on top of that they ran my credit 7 times I went from a 730 to a 448

Just pulled the valve covers off from the truck I purchased from here, unbelievable the valve covers completely coverd in dried up oil... so oil was getting to my engine I wish I could download the pictures... they sell you someone else's nightmare... the owner is a joke takes your money and runs. This is by far the worse car stealership in maryland DO NOT BUY FROM HERE YOU WILL BE SORRY!! THE SELL JUNK AT A HIGH PRICE... HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!!!!!! STAY AWAY FOR REAL!!!!

Korey Smith was my contact he was very personable
Korey Smith was my contact he was very personable answered all my questions and very pleasant to work with, I liked that he was a know versus no person. If I asked a question he was able to get the answer. I like my vehicle so far after 2 weeks only issue was my tire went flat on busy highway and the jack is missing an important piece. I do recommend Hilo auto sales and ask for Korey.

Purchased a 2021 Ram pickup and there were a few noticeable things that needed fixed which they did take care of. But they were not upfront about how bad the bed of the truck was at the time of sale. Instead they left snow in the bed and threw a lining over it so it wouldn't be noticed until after the sale. So to me this is dishonesty of the sale but when I have tried to contact the dealership by email or phone the sales consultant will not answer emails or phones calls and if you talk to someone else they can't speak for it because they weren't involved. So not happy with the lack of communication and not being trustworthy. It's a shame that they couldn't have been upfront about it.

Bait and Switch dealership
They list cars for sale that aren't even on the lot and then try to talk you into another one. They even set up an appointment to test drive the non existent car and then come back with the new guy made a mistake excuse. Complete waste of time travelling to the dealer for a total scam.

Beware of this dealership!
Beware of this dealership! They absolutely will lie to your face and scam you by mis-representing the condition of the vehicles they are selling. I purchased a 2020 Kia Telluride from this dealership on March 18, 2023 at their Ellicott City location. I was presented with a Carfax report for the vehicle indicating that it had never been in an accident at the time of the sale. During the test drive, I noticed that the vehicle displayed a parking senor error warning on the dashboard. When I questioned the manager (John M*****) of the dealership about the error, he claimed that they had investigated the error, and that it was being caused by a single faulty sensor in the rear bumper of the vehicle. He claimed the only reason they hadn't repaired it was because Kia would replace the sensor under warranty for free, but as a dealer they are unable to get work done on the vehicle under the manufacturers warranty. I thought it sound suspicious, but the vehicle had many of the features I wanted in this specific model and I against my better judgement I made the purchase. Once I got the vehicle registered and titled, I immediately took it to my local Kia dealership for this 'warranty' work to be completed. The dealer called me later that day and informed me that the issue was not a faulty sensor, but that the vehicle had been in an accident and all 4 are the rear parking sensors were ruined and glued in place, the radar antenna was entirely missing as were both BDS sensors and the wiring harness to tie all these items into the vehicles computer. Essentially the vehicle had been rear-ended, and was cosmetically patched up but none of the expensive electronic components had been replaced. In addition all 4 tires barely passed inspection and need replaced. All told, its $3,895.52 for the bumper electronics and $1,344 for the tires. When I informed Hi-Lo of the issue, they claimed management would call me back, but they have failed to do so after following up multiple times.
