Gave wrong information about Credit Checks

I called to get information about a Tesla and Catherine was nice and informative. I ask if she could give me numbers and she said I needed to fill out an application. I explained I didn’t want my credit to be pulled and she said it would be a soft pull. She sent the application through text and I asked again if it wouldn’t be a hard credit check and she replied No. 5 hours later I get a text from Catherine asking for information, then I receive a email saying my credit was pulled.Catherine explained that they are a small dealership and their finance manager wasn’t there and this was her reason for them taking so long to get back with me. She also said that she didn’t know that her finance manager would do hard credit checks but she failed to check after I asked her twice. The communication between customer, salesperson and finance is horrible. From a new potential customer experience , this was very disappointing.

I specifically told Catherine I was looking for estimate numbers not exact. She replied we do soft pulls then if we come to an agreement it would be submitted to the bank for a hard credit check. The only confusion was between Catherine and the finance manager not me. I only agreed to submit the application because Catherine assured me they would be estimate numbers based on a soft credit pull. Then when I spoke to Catherine about why they pulled my credit all she could say was I don’t know why. She never once told me she could fix the issue by submitting a request to the credit bureau which would have been helpful but nothing was said in our phone conversation. My INTENT is to buy a Tesla but I do like to shop around and see which deal makes sense and not pull my credit every time I call a dealership.

I purchased a Tesla Model S from Auto Centrix.

In my car search, I was specifically looking for a late model Tesla Model S with executive seating. (The Executive Rear Seats upgrade replaces the rear bench with two seats that are separated by a center console featuring integrated cup holders and hidden storage. Additionally, the upgrade includes dual-zone heaters) I contacted the Sales person (Christine) at Auto Centrix who is awesome to work with. She showed me two vehicles and I was able to select the color I wanted. The day I arrived to complete the deal their were several people waiting to pounce on the vehicle but she held them off giving me first dibs. I remain please with the purchase and the car. I 100% recommend Auto Centrix and have recommended them to 3 or more friends and acquaintances who are looking to buy a used Tesla.

I found a Car on Emunds being sold by AutoCentrix. I texted the dealership on a Saturday. Drew contacted me on Monday and I have the car a week later delivered to Austin. I would recommend Auto Centrix.

This review is long over due and I owe it to Steve and

This review is long over due and I owe it to Steve and Dorothy to remember to get back to it and make good on my promise. From day one when I called to ask about a Tesla Model X, I got such a timely and speedy response. During the time i called they were going through a snowstorm and still had time to finalize everything in less than a week. Steve is such an awesome guy. He sounds like a true car salesmen but let me tell you, his positive vibe he gives out is what makes him special. After i finalized my deal, they sent me a video of the car with a walkthrough telling me where the kinks and dents were. I love the transparency and just the positive energy. I am a positive vibe guy myself so I appreciate Steve. Dorothy was very informative on how much tax would be paid if you were from out of state. In this state Cali. They were up front about everything. 15 bucks in fees if even that. The real damage was me registering it in my home state. 5500. Yea that one stung. Just a great overall experience from these two professionals. I told Steve, you might have me back as a repeat with such good deals. I would like to say as of today, I am I need of a preown model 3 TESLA because I need another car to scale up now. The beautiful blue FSD 2016 model X i bought from Steve has now been rented out for the next 6 months for 2300 a month. How’s that for luck huh? Luck and positive vibes. Trust me ladies and fellas, if you find a car that is right for you on autocentrix, trust me when I say they have your interest at heart. I can attest for that. I bought my model x back on 2/17/22 and i am now writing this review. That’s how good their customer service is and competitive pricing on their preown teslas. I remembered a month later to make it one of my priorities to fulfill a promise. Let that sink in, I went out of my way to take my time to write a nice review for a car dealership. To take it one more step, Steve just asked me once during the process and once after for an honest review that’s it. He didn’t brother me after that. Because I know this is the best Tesla preown dealership in TX and the great people there, I had to write them a review. Not great but a honest review to let people know that they will try to work with you. I was quoted a number and it went up by 2k but they honored it. SO again thank you much Steve and Dorothy!!!!!!!! My wife is in search for a Model 3 low miles 2018-20 for a deal. I’m putting it out there first now in case you have something =). God bless you guys and for the people reading this. Trust me when I i say Steve is a cool a$$ mother Fker. You will be saying that after too. =)

Just purchased 2014 Smart For two EV online. Worked with Dorothy and Steve. They made it a pleasure buying online and got a great price. I had never bought a vehicle on the web. So nervous about that and needed shipped from Texas to Florida . They gave me shipping info and did all the paperwork online. Love myf car and very happy with the process. Give them a look for your next vehicle. Glad I did.

First things first, this was a internet sale with me...

First things first, this was a internet sale with me arranging and paying for the transportation service; financing was not needed for this sale. This sale appeared to be good right from the start but it took a bad turn. First after looking at all the pictures offered the car appeared nearly flawless. I asked Steve for additional pictures of any chips or issues with the paint and/or wheels. Steve sent me a walk- around video of the car stating while walking around it is one of the cleanest cars in the country. I noticed a chip in the paint on the hood. I had to ask him about it as he did not point that out to me. He stated he lets the video talk for itself, so I'm glad I asked. I felt it was my responsibility to ask again, are there any other chips, issues with the paint, interior or any issues with the wheels. The tires are brand new. His response was NO. We purchased the car on his word and were very excited to take delivery. I might add the transportation service was bar none - an enclosed trailer without requesting one. Once the car was delivered to the house we watched the driver unload our new car. He had to remove a Rolls Royce first then our 2017 XT5 with 26k miles. When the car was removed from the trailer I thought it looks brand new from afar. It looked great as he pulled it in the driveway. Hats off to their detail shop as a overall it looked good and the interior smelled great. Then the walk around. The chip on the hood was expected but then found chips on the rear quarter panel, 3 of the 4 rims have curb rash, there is a cut in the rear leather seat. At this point I'm feeling lied to. Then the test drive. It felt good until the open road - the car pulls to the right "a lot" and yes, I allowed for road crown. I had to take it to a dealership and have my new to me car to have a front end alignment. I contacted Steve on this issue and they paid for the repair as they should. Question: Why would they sell a car the blatantly pulls to one side and not correct this issue first? Now after purchasing this car I was told the title will follow. THREE + weeks later we receive the title. I was told that the state I live in will be charging a 2% penalty on the sales tax as the car was not registered within the allotted time the state allows. I explained my case to the DMV clerk and the penalty was waived, thankfully. Because of the very nice detail job on the car I had asked Steve to please give me the name of the detailer they use. Steve said no problem and said he will send me the 3 products they used on my car. I said I just need the name but okay thank you. 2 months later still no detailer... Thanks Steve, just the business name next time someone asks. FYI, I found the company and did what I should have done in the first place - buy my own. Where is the transparency? I would not buy from this dealership again. 12/5/21 Chris D.

We bought from out of state and drove down to pick up....

We bought from out of state and drove down to pick up. Dorothy was a doll! Very professional and easy to communicate with. Steve was also very helpful in setting up app. I have been in my '14 MS for two weeks and am very pleased with the car and the Auto Centrix team.
