Fighting for Service Contract Cancellation
I traded my vehicle in that I purchased with Clay Cooley Nissan Irving. I submitted a product cancellation request on June 2, 2018 for an extended service and Gap coverage I paid for. After I didn't hear anything for weeks, I called Clay Cooley Nissan Irving twice to check the status of canceling my service contract. The first time I called, left a voicemail still no response! I called a week later and the receptionist transferred me to a voicemail. I then called back the same day and didn’t even get answered by the receptionist. The phone rang, it sounded like someone picked up the phone and hung up. Very disappointed! Someone finally contacted me after I wrote a review about my issue, and told me to contact the finance director Roland Lynn. I called him, he was in a meeting and told someone to tell me it was taken care of. I was not happy with the response so I paid the dealership a visit to speak with Roland in person on July 9, 2018. Roland said he never received the cancellation request from back in June, and that it never made it to the accounting department. He told me it would be yet another 4 to 6 weeks. I told him that I don't think thats acceptable because I took time to come to his dealership on June 2nd and it was not my fault that it "never made it to accounting". He then said he would put a rush on the request and would copy me on the email. I was copied on the email, and never heard back so I followed up on July 17th with him and the Jr. Controller at Nissan that it was sent to. She responded by saying the check was cut and they were waiting for the check to be signed and released. On July 23rd I sent another email, and no response. On July 24th, I called both Roland and the Jr. Controller and the phone rang, no response.
