Big Business Ripping Off the Little Guy

Joe Cooper Ford Lincoln of Edmond charged me $5000 for a warranty on a used car, an amount that it turns out is in violation of consumer protection laws. When I brought this before their attention, their manager acted completely arrogant, blaming the problem on me because I’d agreed to the purchase, despite the fact that they had fraudulently overcharged me. Joe Cooper also made sure to sell my trade-in vehicle ASAP so that it won’t be available to me after my case goes to court, which it most certainly will. I wouldn’t touch Joe Cooper Ford Lincoln with a ten-foot pole. I hope as many consumers read this as possible - don’t go to Joe Cooper Ford Lincoln of Edmond. They will try to rip you off every which way they can. They will even break the law to do it, as they did in my case.

Need to service their vehicles better

I purchased a used 07 ford mustang from them. Asked them about a couple of issues and they said they were fine. Even pulled the repair sheet from when they did their trade in bumper to bumper check. Got it home and drove it 700 miles and it ended up in the shop bc of an issue we asked about at purchase. Ended up costing over $700 to fix it. Buyer by aware. They aren't as truthful as they claim to be.

Poor salesmanship!

Salesperson not motivated to sale. Traveled over 6 hours to purchase a vehicle. Salesperson was too busy with other customers the entire time we were at the dealership - did not make us a priority. The vehicle had to be sent to detailing 2 different times and still left the lot covered in filth. If time would of allowed, we would of sent to back for a 3rd time. Very poor detailing on exterior. Salesman did not go over anything inside our out of vehicle with us. He clearly just wanted to make the sale and send us on our 6 hour road trip back home... Not impressed!

Treated like royalty

We were visiting family in OK and decided to drop by Joe Cooper Ford/Lincoln dealership in Edmond to browse the used cars on their lot. Malachi greeted us within a few minutes and he was he was very professional and friendly. We did find a car we liked but did not purchase it until we returned to Arkansas to do some research. We found that we could not beat the price anywhere including the Internet. So we called Malachi to tell him we wanted the car. We drove back (6 hours) to buy this car. The main reason was the royal treatment we received from this dealership. A few months later we were back in town to visit and stopped by Joe Cooper's to inquire about a manufacture recall on the car we purchased. The service department got our car in right then, took care of the repair, and washed and vacuumed our car within an hour. We did not request the wash and vacuum, that is just part of their great customer service. We can not say enough good things about this dealership. Someone was continually asking us if they could get us a beverage. The absolute best car buying experience ever!

Very rude and terrible customer service

Shopped around for a truck and got a good price from another dealership, then wanted to see if they could beat or match the price since they were closer to home. The salesperson, Erin, was very rude when she said they could not match the price. And before this I went in for a test drive and they didn?t have the vehicle I inquired about and set up the appointment for and had to wait for 30 minutes for them to bring a similar truck. Overall a terrible experience with the salesperson and the customer service.

Great service

We had no problems with the purchase of our MKX. Malachi was very professional. Paperwork took a long time, but we are very happy with the car. When our salesman was busy, another guy (Kim) helped out. That's teamwork!

Very Bad Experience

Drove 45 minutes to look at a vehicle I had been looking at on their internet. Had even emailed back and forth with Jeff, a salesperson, that said come in anytime he would have it ready. I spent an hour sitting in their showroom waiting for them to find the SUV. Never found the one I was looking at, had one other at the same price but different color, but for some reason the keys wouldn't work. Showed them another listing from their website and they had moved it to the loaner program and was not on the lot. Very poor advertising on their part. I won't go back.

2018 Ford Explorer XLT

It was a pleasure, and my salesman, Isreal was very patient, and understanding, i love that they stood behind the advertised price, and was completely upfront about everything , we traveled about an hour and a half, and I hope to do future business with Joe Cooper, I highly recommend this dealership!

needed help, and they were terrific. ..!!

I'm a senior citizen, warning light goes out on my car, my husband was on the road, far away, I'm alone...a little scared......found Joe Cooper on Google. ..they were GREAT, fast, efficient ...checked out my car, even washed it......got a free vanilla latte and pecan cinnamon bun in waiting room.....and no charges for checking out my car, put air in tires...I am thrilled and so thankful.....
