Professional dealer with class, a lost art.

The lost art of professionalism and class in car dealers I thought was gone until I went to Tom Hodges Auto. I needed another vehicle to get to work, and honestly was tired of the scams, hustle, headache and lies not to mention the unprofessionalism I faced at other dealers. I met Bob at Tom Hodges and instantly was greeted with a hello, positive attitude and smile, and from there was treated like a top notch customer. The deal for my vehicle was professional and was never any feeling of being mislead or pressured. They even arranged for the inspection and repair work to be done at there shop to make it easy. I was taken to the shop to meet the staff and mechanic and they took care of the rest making me feel comfortable. I picked the vehicle up couple days later, clean ready to go no delays or hang ups. The ladies and gentleman at Tom Hodges have given me the confidence that there are professional dealers with class that care about you and care about what service and product they present to the consumer. I've purchased a vehicle and gotten service on my other vehicle at what I thought was a very good dealership who gave you good service and such....nah!!! My buying experience at Tom Hodges moved them to back burner. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle locally or even like myself from a little distance away. Excellent Customer Care

This was my 6th vehicle purchased from Tom Hodges Auto Sales and just like all the other times a pleasurable business transaction. I wasn't sure what i really wanted but i knew i needed something great on gas milage and something i could fit in- i am 6'2" and 200lbs. Tom personally took the time to show me the many cars he had and provided details on those models, with that information, i left for the day. After deciding on the vehicle i wanted(and no pressure from people calling the house) returned to meet with Craig and Lauren(Tom was out off the office) who did a fantastic job in getting behind the wheel of my new car within 2 hours! My Buying Experience

I went to them with very specific requirements. They did not have what I wanted on their lot, but found a car for me and had it ready within a week. The vehicle was exactly what I asked for as far as: Price Mileage Features Color

2nd car

I must say as this is the 2nd car purchased at Tom Hodges it was a very nice and very informative experience. they were very helpful and even taught me the importance of Gap Ins which I was not informed of correctly. The help and process was nice and they all pitched in to help make this car for my grandson go smoothly. Thank you each and everyone of you and for your prayers on my grandson for his car accident of few months ago. knowing that made me feel like a part of there family:~)

Awesome experience!

Great staff would go back again and recommend to others. They made my first buying experience a delight after being to two other places and was not treated half as well as I was at Tom Hodges!

Best Service Department in Saint Mary's county

I have always received the best quality from here. I never feel like I am being sold services that are not needed. I moved to Charles County and still bring my vehicles over to Tom Hodges for any and all service needs.

Low tire pressure

Everything was excellent, until the following morning a low tire pressure alarm came on. The tires are in excellent condition, but they should have had the PSI level checked before the sale was made.

Thank you for your review and I apologize for the tire inconvenience. I spoke with Tom regarding your concern and he is offering for your to come in and allow us to fill your tires with Nitrogen. Nitrogen molecules are larger than Oxygen molecules (O2-which escape more easily through the tire). When temperatures change in the winter time the pressure in your tires change as well. Other benefits with Nitrogen are better gas mileage and longer tire life. This service will take about 30 minutes. We will look forward to seeing you again. DEAR TOM, I HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME CUSTOMER OF YOURS SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED YOUR COMPANY. I BOUGHT MY CHILDRENS VEHICLES (now ADULTS) THROUGH YOU CHEAP! AND VERY RELIABLE AND HONEST, which i know is why you have such a thriving, wonderfull business. I TRULY WISH YOU COULD HELP ME OUT OF THIS MESS I MADE WITH ANOTHER LOCAL DEALER. MY HUSBAND AND I RECENTLY ADOPTED OUR THREE GRANDCHILDREN AND AFTER THAT OUR FAMILY VEHICLE BROKE DOWN AND AFTER USING MY DAUGHTER'S CAR AND LOOKING FOR A MONTH. NOW DURING THIS MONTH I DID STOP BY YOUR PLACE A FEW TIMES AND ALWAYS IN A HURRY WITH 3 KIDS IT WAS DIFFICULT TO CONCENTRATE. NO EXCUSE!!!!I WAS SO WRONG! I MADE A BAD DECISION BECAUSE MY CHILDREN FELL FOR A MINIVAN, NOW MANY FALSE PROMISES THAT DEALER HAS MADE AND THEN TWISTED IT ( Let's just say that) MY CHILDREN'S SAFETY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT!!! AND JUST WENT FROM THERE. IF I COULD CHANGE IT, I WOULD. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GREAT VEHICLE AND EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR DEALERSHIP. Great experience makes us repeat customers!

Our family was in the market for a used car and, after a very positive experience 5 yrs. ago, we decided to go back to Tom Hodges. The staff is very personable, knowledgeable and relaxed, and made the experience quick and painless...we were in and out with a new vehicle in less than a total of a few hours. Patrick, Bob, Steven, and Lauren were incredibly helpful and professional, taking the time to answer our questions and make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. Integrity and honesty are hallmarks of this business, and we will go back to Tom Hodges the next time we are in the market because of this. Thank you so much!!
