You said you would take care of me and you did

I had some unforeseen issues with my used car purchase. Mel and Carlo insisted that I give them a chance to make it right, and they did. They had to earn this 5 star rating from me, and I can say they backed their words with action. Now I feel safe with my kid driving this cart to Texas for college. Thank you!

WORST DEALERSHIP

The stereotype of a used car dealers definitely applies at this dealership. Dealt with Carlo for part of the buying process. He told me one thing only to have the manager tell me the complete opposite. It was almost like it was his first day. They sold me a Truck with a transmission issue and two days after buying it I couldn’t drive it because the transmission blew. Instead of them fixing it they wanted me to go through the worthless warranty company and fought tooth and nail saying I knew that it had a problem when I bought it. I did not. The warranty company they use is just as worthless as this dealership. Makes sense that a caniving dealership would use a caniving warranty. NEVER BUY FROM HERE.

Relationship

Buying a used car is no easy task but bridge auto of Berlin made it more comfortable. They are transparent, and Carlo my sales rep is an approachable no nonsense guy. I got a cheap car 4000 or so dollars under market value and I was able to work with Carlo and later the general manager Mel to get what needed to be fixed done at an affordable rate. Mel the GM is a great guy who builds a relationship and was a man of his word throughout the process. Its been a month or so since I got the car and no problems, everything was worked out and worked on. Mel was able to be professional and helpful to help make your day. He earns his business.

Great experience

Ken was patient and kind and worked hard to get me in something same day! Will definitely look to use him again if I am ever in need of a car again.

Great customer service

I appreciate the service you everyone is so friendly They are willing to help you out the best that they can. From the moment I walked in the Door I was greeted with a smile by Eve. I definitely will let people know about this place.

Worst Experience

My Experience with Bridge Auto was a waste of my time. I was told that I could put a down payment and with that hold the car until monday and they would call me. Monday came and I was expecting the call and they didn't so I knew something must of went wrong so I decided to call and Asked to take my money out. I was told by Desmond I would get my money back within 3 to 4 business, so I waited patiently and no call or anything. I made the first call and Rick answered and said he'll call me back. Again, I waited so I called each day to him answer and some days he would have an attitude. The salesman I was dealing with was Desmond and he was MIA "missing in action". So its been close to two weeks I called everyday and nothing, that week one person called me and her name was Ev. I told her you have been the only one to call me back and regards to getting my money back either I was put on hold to be hung up on or was given an attitude. She understood how upset I was and kept in contact about the details of my refund. The next week my refund finally came, it shouldn't have taken 3 weeks for my refund to come in. If that was the case Bridge Auto should have kept in contact with me about my money. I'm 19 and looking for a car and giving them my money trusting them made me feel stupid.

Beware of penalties

Wish is could rate it lower. This place makes it sound like you have 30 days to have your car registered and inspected. In NJ you have 10 days to register the title and 14 days to have the vehicle inspected. The worse part about this place is you pay close to 300 dollars for a title to be prepared. When you get it, the title is dated for before you even stepped foot on the lot. Then when you go to register it at thw DMV you get pay a 25 dollar penalty for late registration. I need another vehicle for my son before December and will NOT be giving this place any further business. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging fees on items that we, as the customers, will have to pay penalties on.
