MSRP for the vehicle I was interested in was just below

MSRP for the vehicle I was interested in was just below $70,000. I am a huge Lexus fan, and opted to still move forward with crazy markup (Dealership was selling for close to $84,000 due to how "rare" the vehicle was". Used Condition, <2,000 miles) I wanted to finance the car through an LLC doing $120,000+ in revenue per year Around for 4+ years. The bank they used (Ally, or Alli, idk) is a smaller one, to say the least. Upon learning they were trying to finance through this bank, I knew 3 hours in this was going to be a bust. I was able to buy a different car from a different dealership while sitting at Ride n Drive for 4+ hours as they underhandedly tried to convince me to put $40,000 down in cash while lowballing me for the trade-in I had. The same deal was financed at a different lot with no cash down (just an acceptable offer for my trade-in) using the LLC we wanted to. I wouldn't waste my time at this lot again.

All Around Excellent Experience

Purchased completely online; dealer met me 2 hours away from their lot to deliver. I didn't have to wait around for responses, polite, professional-culminated into trust. They found better financing than I was able to on my own. Call for Tariq on sales, he was patient and proactive in getting deal done. Fair pricing based on my research.

Patience is a virtue - read whole post **initially posted on 6/19/21** I recently, June 18, 2021, was in the process of buying a $41000.00, 2017 BMW X-5D from RIDENDRIVE. The Car Fax report, evidently bogus or redacted, showed a minor accident. When I inquired of Jay, in sales, Jay told me that the rear bumper cover had been replaced and there were no issues. I paid $10,000.00 down payment and Anthony Anquiano, finance manager, arranged, financing, registration and delivery. Upon applying for insurance for this vehicle in anticipation of delivery and provided the serial number. The agent very thoroughly researched the Vehicle’s history. The Nexus lexus report lists two major accidents amounting to more than $30,000.00. When confronted, the Ridendrive General manager, Mike Dimarcio refused to return my down payment and stated he did not agree with the Nexus Lexus report. Ridendrive will not refund my down payment and deny their complicity in a deceptive cover up of severe damage exceeding $30,000.00. This is no longer a BMW but a vehicle having a BMW name plate and aftermarket parts. Ridendrive has made no effort to resolve this issue, preferring to keep both my $10,000.00 and the car. BEWARE: Nation wide there are many complaints regarding autos purchased from Rind N Drive dealers, and low ratings with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUs. They also failed to notify the credit union that the car was not delivered, and now the credit union is expecting payments for a car that is in their lot. **Updated 6-26** So more information about Ride N Drive and their admirable efforts of trying to help me work through this with the lexus report which no one can access without being a member of their services: the lexusnexis report has a lot of incongruities about the report which is really just a record of what claims *may* have existed previously on a vehicle - i say may, because digging in further i have found a massive disclaimer on their website: "Due to the nature of the origin of public record information, the public records and commercially available data sources used in reports may contain errors. Source data is sometimes reported or entered inaccurately, processed poorly or incorrectly, and is generally not free from defect. This product or service aggregates and reports data, as provided by the public records and commercially available data sources, and is not the source of the data, nor is it a comprehensive compilation of the data. Before relying on any data, it should be independently verified." That all being said, Mike and the team at Ride N Drive has been just as frustrated as I have been and have been very patient and helping me get a local mechanic I know and trust to take a look at the vehicle and us get a report so that Ride N Drive can see what may or may not have been done to the vehicle as well. I want to say Thank you to Ride N Drive for working with me through this situation and have really tried to do right by me despite the problems caused by an incomplete or inaccurate report.

Amazing Service and Smooth Process!

In October my wife and I stopped in to checkout a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited I had seen online. We had shopped major dealers and person to person options but had not found what we were looking for. When we arrived we were greeted by Tariq who gave a warm welcome and was very helpful. After a test drive and inspection we felt pretty good about it and wanted to move forward. I'll save you all the back-and-forth but Tariq and his team were responsive, helpful, willing to assist in any way asked and professional at every step. They really went above and beyond to make sure that my wife and I not only felt good about the purchase but confident we were making the right choices. I know I can be a challenge when making such a purchase but they never missed a beat and addressed everything I asked of them. Even their mechanic made himself available to answer all our questions and concerns. After the past few months of having fun driving it around I have found it was perfect and just as advertised, if not better! We've purchased vehicles from Mazda, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Toyota and Volvo all from large dealerships whose names you would recognize. This transaction with Ride N Drive was the smoothest and most favorable. We'd not only like to thank Tariq for his efforts but also Tony, Mike and the rest of the team. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a vehicle of any variety they might carry or be able to acquire.

SHADY business practices

I am located out of state and was supposed to be buying a 2015 Subaru BRZ from this dealership. All week i had been going back and forth with an employee named Mitch. He told me that due to the Coronavirus, all prices were list price only, even though I had a TrueCar offer that showed less. FINE. He sent me a buyers order and i forwarded it to my credit union. I asked him his opinion of the car, and he stated I could have an inspection done at a shop in their town for $119. I paid for an inspection and it came back that the car has leaky, failed shocks/struts and these would need to be replaced, with a total estimate of over $1,000 including labor. I sent the "salesman" this estimate and he replied that he can take $300 off the cost of the car, and also sent me a link to buy the parts I needed for $165. I ordered the parts. The "salesman" then sent me a text asking if I had received his offer to take $300 off the price. Due to work and travel, I was able to reply only THREE HOURS later that yes I accept, and for him to send me an updated buyers order. I never heard from him again. I had to find out from my credit union that he sold the car within the 3 hours of him texting me and my reply, EVEN after I paid for an inspection and even after he had already sent me a first buyers order. Needless to say, the "salesman" was only out to make $300 more as I'm sure he did not tell the buyer the shocks needed to be replaced. I'm sure this place has good employees but this guy is NOT one of them. I'm out the cost of the inspection and also the parts...I only hope the parts store will let me return them. Word to wise, do an inspection before you buy from this guy, and heaven forbid you take 3 hours to reply to their text or else they will sell the car right from under you. Did they do anything illegal...no. But geez their business ethics are lacking in a big way.

Twice sold, planning the Third

Ride n Drive is like a car buying home to me! Mike (and actually the whole team) has never been anything but Stellar, kind, helpful and genuine. I have bought a 2013 BMW x5 from them as well as a Fiat 500 sport, both times i was blown away by the over the top service. Mike made sure that both times the cars where in excellent condition before we where allowed to take them. I pointed out things on the test drives that i would have to have someone look at, and each time they fixed it before the delivery. Short and Sweet, right now i'm working on how to purchase my 3rd from them. I will never look anywhere else if I am shopping for a used car. So pushy sales, just honest advice. I recommend them to all my friends and family, because in the end i know they will do the right!

Shady

I've debated on leaving this as they appeared to be sincere in helping resolve my situation but after being left on hold while my text go ignored it seems they just don't wanna deal with their problems In short i bought a truck made it 50 miles broke down they "fixed" it i drove another approx. 2k miles when the trans locked up on me and they agreed to fix it never showing up to get the truck. Once i paid 5k out of pocket to fix the truck the told me was a good vehicle they agreed to reimburse me now no call back or reply So i bought this beautiful 2004 Chevy from them on 4/20/19 seemed like a good truck everything was dry underneath fluid all looked good truck had low miles i was climbing all over the truck looking for anything mechanically wrong with it finding nothing but a burnt out light bulb and a missing lock slide even talked with their 'Mechanic' who assured me it was a great truck. i was sold this was the truck! Or so I thought! I made it 50 miles away from the dealership on my way back to Oklahoma (about 250 mile trip) when the transmission started to overheat, so i pulled over and called the dealership up they sent out a tow truck and assured me they would get it fixed or put a new transmission in if need be and even deliver the truck to me.As i was waiting i looked back under the truck there were fluids everywhere and not one but two bolts were finger tight! (i attached pictures for proof) So fast forward almost 3 weeks they finally let me come back and pick the truck up. i clocked nearly 2k miles when the transmission locked up on me while driving First thing i do? Call the dealership tell them whats going on they inform me to call the warranty company and they will handle it all. The warranty was $500.. So i call the dealership back and they agreed too and arranged for someone to come pick up my truck and take it to their mechanic in Texas which never happened. I couldn't be without a vehicle any longer as i had been waiting a month for them to answer or call back and sent it to the shop for repairs costing me just under 5k with towing.(pics for proof once again) Now that Ive had it back its been in and out of multiple shops multiple times for electrical issues that all of the mechanics believe to be the results of a flood damaged car that was 'cleaned up' and resold. Now im looking thousands of more dollars having a new wiring harness installed in the truck and hoping the motor wont blow up on me. here we are 6 months later and ive only been able to drive my truck 4500 miles
