I purchased my first Audi with Dante and had a great

I purchased my first Audi with Dante and had a great experience. He is very knowledgeable, communicative, and never pushed or made me feel pressured. I'd recommend him to anyone else looking to purchase an Audi.

Slow an poor service

My review is for the service department at Audi in Fremont, CA. This place has really gone downhill and is a shame to the Fletcher Jones name. The reservation system at this place is a joke. I’ll save you some trouble: they don’t tell you this up front, but expect your car to take 4-7 days to be serviced. Also, every time I’ve been here, there is a serious shortage of loaner vehicles. So, expect to be without a car for a while. I should have read the other recent reviews here first because many other customers say the same thing. I called to schedule a break flush and spark plug replacement and asked if it would be okay to drop the car off the night before so that I can pick the vehicle up after work the next day. The individual that scheduled the appointment recommended that I schedule an early morning appointment (7:30am) so that the car can be ready later in the day. I dropped my car off the evening before and was quoted $475 for the spark plug replacement and $298 for the brake fluid exchange ($773 total) by the advisor, Frank. At this premium I expect stellar service but Audi Fremont was a huge fail. I checked on the status of my car the next day around 2pm and was told by the advisor that my car was still in the queue and that it would take a few more days. At no point was I told I’d be without my vehicle for more than a day. Frank called and said that it would take about four days and that their typical backlog was seven days. This place clearly doesn’t know how to manage appointments to ensure clients are scheduled appropriately. Needless to say, I picked my car up the same day without it being serviced (inconveniencing a friend for a ride and hours in traffic). With all the competition in this industry, I have no doubt that I’ll find someplace else that offers better customer care, faster service, and savings.

Service is impeccable at Audi Fremont.

Service is impeccable at Audi Fremont. From initial sales contact to taking the keys, it was an excellent, fair and transparent experience. I drove an extra 30 miles to go to Audi Fremont instead of an Audi dealership that was 5 miles away. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Poor customer service

Worst experience on customer service. My car has been in their shop for 7 days before they even looked at it and diagnosed the problem. Then, they keep pushing out the commitment date on when repairs will be completed. The job is simply to replace the radiator shutter due to a check engine light, after 7 days of the car being in the shop and it was a Monday, the service advisor told me that the car will be done by Wednesday or Thursday. Thursday comes and no call or update from Audi Fremont. I followed up and told me that the technician is out and the new target date will be on Friday. Friday came and again I had to Follow-up again. Response was that the technician is out and no other technicians are available since they are tied on other cars. Their new commitment was for the next Monday. It will be exactly 2 weeks at that time. I told them that they are not being helpful and that it will mess up my vacation plans. That was a Friday afternoon around 1 pm, then by 5 pm they called me and said that the foreman had to do the work and now it's finished. Car was in their shop for almost 2 weeks for a simple shutter motor replacement. The service advisor did not even bother to be proactive in updating me with my car status and even did not give me a run down of the work after completion. I told them that they are not a customer obsessed company and that is not how to run a business. How is the technician being out a problem by the customer, those are problems that their management need to address and not the customer. I highly NOT recommend this dealer, Audi Fremont. Worst experience ever with a service dealer. If you don't want to get frustrated go to other Audi dealers in the Bay Area which is what I'll be doing. Hope this helps. FYI ... I even spoke to the manager Joe and gave my complain about the service and the service advisor #260035 Btw I should have looked at the yelp review before I took my car there since apparently this type of customer experience is quite common from Audi Fremont

This is my first car in USA and the sales people Sang,

This is my first car in USA and the sales people Sang, Dante and manager Jim were very patient and supportive in helping me understanding the entire process. The concept of buying Audi went smoothly, thanks to them and the dealership was clean and welcoming. As my car was not available in that dealership, they contacted other dealerships and got the car in 24 hours. So, all in all it was good feeling.
