VERY PROFESSIONAL, EXTREMELY HELPFUL - CAN'T GO WRONG

I bought my Tesla Model X 100D from these guys. The car was exactly as advertised, the service was excellent, and there was never any stress on negotiation, and the after sales service was above and beyond what I have found from run of the mill dealers. Virgil was particularly helpful with steering me in the right direction on adapters I would need and advice on installing the correct outlet. They are never too busy to help.

Beware Out of State Buyers

We purchased a Tesla from Sam Jidd Luxury in early December from out of state. Our displeasure started with the negotiation of the car and lasted well beyond delivery. Prior to finalizing a price, my husband and I asked about the quality of the interior and were told by our sales representative, Virgil, that the car was “immaculate”. We later asked if there were any dings or dents and Virgil responded, “Hey man, we are not that kind of dealer. We only sell pristine, high quality cars.” We took Virgil at his word and chose not to send an inspector to look over the car. After we settled on a price for a car that we presumed had been completely reconditioned, we were told about a $795 “dealer fee” that was not previously disclosed. Feeling a little upset about how that came out we waited for the promised paperwork via e-mail. All we received were wiring instructions. The following day we had to call several times to see what was going on with our bill of sale. We finally received an invoice that had a higher shipping price than we were quoted the previous day. We did receive a corrected version and e-signed the document nearly 48 hours after agreeing on a price. The only thing that happened quickly at this dealership was getting the car on a car carrier after our wire was received. Then our real troubles began. The car was absolutely filthy when we took delivery from the carrier. We looked the car over, but we were not able to see its actual condition. We took it home and immediately washed it. The interior was pristine, but there were three dents on the left rear quarter panel. We knew we had bought the car “as is”, but we were very upset that the dents were not disclosed. Had we known about them we would have (a) asked for pictures, (b) possibly sent an inspector and (c) considered the cost of repair in our negotiation. We were also disappointed to find out that the car was delivered with no charging cable, no temporary registration and only one key. We called Virgil and told him we were rather disappointed to say the least. SJL did agree to purchase a charging cable for us and had it shipped directly to us. After several days of phone calls, we finally received a temporary registration via e-mail that should have been in the car when it was shipped. The temporary registration finally allowed us to get a Tesla account so that we could get the car charged while we waited for the cable. We then struggled for several weeks to get a title so that the car could be registered in California. Nearly eight weeks after we negotiated the purchase price of the car we finally had a title in hand. While waiting for the title to arrive, we had the dents repaired at a cost of $500. We sent a copy of the repair bill to SJL along with pictures of the damage. We asked for reimbursement of the repair cost since the damage was not disclosed. Virgil said he would take it up with the General Manager but we have never heard back from him. The car is wonderful, but the experience for an out of state purchase was very trying.

Man what can I say. I found out the bmw i8 wanted was...

Man what can I say. I found out the bmw i8 wanted was sold. But they had a better one in BLACK . I love the color black , so I was like let me check it out . Let me test drive it. No problem . The moment I sat in the drivers seat of the 2016 BMW i8 I fell in love with the car . I had to buy it . I’m young and I like to buy things that shows where my money goes to and this is one the best purchases I have done by myself 💯. Virgil the coolest salesman I know . He’s a very professional guy! He’s super dope! Thanks for being the person to being there in this journey with me . Overall I’m in love with my car. Thank you for everything ! Now time to enjoy my bmw i8 and of course drive the speed limit lol If a lane opens with clean and clear asphalt Im hiding the gas pedal to the floor mat!!! Lol 😂

buyer beware - lots of terrible inventory

I was interested in 2 cars. 1. The sales person referred to me as 4 different first names and never got it right. 2. Every car I test drove was either a lemon or was a blemished title. 3. They took my keys to the trade and made the shopping process very long. 4. Weird noises coming from both cars. Skip this place.

Amazing!

While my husband has decided to go in a different direction, I will say this - if you are looking for a car talk to Mike. We were planning to make the trip to Chicago from Georgia and Mike bent over backwards to help in any way he possibly could. You have a thousand questions ... he has a thousand answers with no hesitation. Absolutely amazing customer service from day 1! He was on top of every single detail. Even things I had not thought of, Mike did. If it were my decision, we would be going to Chicago!!!

Go here if you want to get ripped off!

These guys are con men. The cars have major problems that are undisclosed and that's why they "appear" to be good deals. Sales guys there will just lie to you all day. "Buyer beware" has never been more appropriate.
