Would not negotiate

I attempted to buy a preowned certified Subaru Forest XT that had no maintenence records through carfax until 9,000 miles. The vehicle was owned by a Subaru rep, so technically it was a zero owner car. I attempted to gain proof of service records, but they would only indicate "we would not certify the vehicle if it was not in good condition." They reassured me it had the recommended service. I had my doubts. If it was a Subaru rep, they would most likely get reimbursed to have the service or it would be discounted, right? They wouldn't do it themselves. They needed to come down in price for me to feel good about this car. They would not negotiate the price, not even $500 less. They tried their usual tactics (someone else is wanting this vehicle, it won't last long, etc.). They did not give me proof of maintenance and they would not negotiate! No thank you. I'll pass. Needless to say, that car is still on the lot two weeks later... My salesperson was nice and probably had no control over the negotiation. I won't name him, because he does not deserve a negative review. So that's why I gave three stars, rather than one.

Excellent Sales and Service

I would highly recommend Hatfield Subaru for sales and service. They have gone above and beyond with our 2011 Subaru Outback. The new building is super, and the atmosphere is professional.

Quick and Easy Service

Routine service with Frank as coordinator was great. It would be nice if the dealership was able to connect vehicle with the extra warranty and service plan we had purchased seamlessly. Otherwise a wonderful experience!!

Trying to buy a certified pre owned car

I went into this dealership with the intention on buying a certified pre owned Subaru Forester XT. Sales person was Conner. Conner was a good guy and very polite. Test drove the car and loved it. As I am looking over their so called certified pre owned vehicle I noticed some issues. Someone took a screwdriver to remove the old wheel weights from the wheels. Thus, scratching all four wheels. They wheels on the xt are very nice. But this made them look like dog poop. There were scratches on the car. And it was priced 200 above book value. I explained this to them. That it would need the wheels refinished. I had cash in hand ready to buy the car. They did nothing to even remotely earn my business. The sales manager sat in his office. Never came to talk to me. Conner is working his butt off to try and save the sale and maybe get some money taken off for the damage done. Nothing. Wouldn't drop a penny. I have taken my business elsewhere. Never will return to this dealership. Poor poor customer service. I understand the car is used. But this was simply unacceptable and not a very good practice. I'd rather pay more at a competitive dealership and never give them business again!!

World Class Buying Experience

I recently purchased a 2017 WRX STI at Hatfield Subaru. The sales specialist, Luc Salo, was outstanding. I found him to be exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Freddy Tamayo, the dealership's General Manager, took the time to personally introduce himself. I received fair value for my trade and a great price on the WRX STI. Howard Sussman, the Finance Manager, was wonderful to work with! The dealership itself is immaculate and looks brand new. It's definitely a cut above the other dumps around town. I highly recommend Hatfield Subaru for a world class buying experience!

Excellent and Friendly

They went out of their way to accommodate us even though we bought the car elsewhere. It was warranty work and Frank and Tim were great to work with. Some wrong parts came in but they kept us informed and took care of us as quickly as possible. We got in initially within one day when another dealer told us it would be about 40 days before they could get us in. Great Job Hatfields!👍😄

Last time they get my $

Where to start? I paid almost $400 for a standard service, oil change, tire rotation , and various other "services".over $200 was labor. I picked up my car after service and banged my head on door jam as the person who serviced my car had raised my seat all the way up, not forward but up. That upset me but when I started car to find my radio turned up to a station that i would never listen to that made me more annoyed. I always clean my engine after an oil change and when I went to do that the next morning I noticed that they didn't fill my washer fliud but stated on my paperwork that it had been done. Makes wonder what else they claimed to have done that wasn't. A couple of days later I figured out why they charged me so much labor because the person who "serviced" my car had adjusted not only my radio station but also my radio settings. Bass and treble had both been turned up all the way. it is unfortunate that they are so close and i will have to take my car to Dublin or Airport for my last service but since it had become owned by Sonic Automotive group the prices and "service" have suffered.

WON'T STOP CALLING MY PHONE

I don't want to bring my car in for an oil change, STOP CALLING ME AND LEAVING MESSAGES. I've literally received 8-10 calls from this company over the course of the past 2 months, I came in for a recall on a 2013 WRX a year ago, and I DON'T EVEN HAVE THE CAR ANYMORE.

WORST service DEPARTMENT EVER

I live 46 miles from the dealership. Car would not start so I took battery to local Advance, they said it had a bad cell. I hauled battery to dealership. Service man RICH said he couldn't do anything without the car there, he needed VIN and Mileage. I explained car obviously would not start with bad battery! He said I should have it towed in!!!! THE BATTERY WAS ON FILE AS BEING REPLACED PREVIOUSLY and UNDER WARRANTY !!! He would do nothing!!!! Came home, bought battery at Advance , car runs great We buy a new car every 12-16 months BUT NO MORE FROM HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would not sell car for advertised price....

Do NOT buy from this dealership! They are NOT honest. I called ahead and asked if a Honda Accord on the lot was still available. I was advised that it was still available, so I drove across town to view it. My son and I test drove the vehicle, and told them we would buy it....the salesman left the room and a manager came in a few minutes later. He said they could not sell the car for the advertised price!!!!! It would cost 3k more! Ive been buying cars for over 40 years and have never heard of such BS! My advice: go to a reputable dealer who has their stuff together.....stay away from Hatfield!
