We were looking for a vehicle for our teenage daughter and I'm so happy that we had Jaime Gonzalez to help us. He truly listened to what kind of vehicle we were looking for and had several vehicles ready for us to test drive as we went through this process. They claimed to have a sale, totally took advantage of my 83 your old father. Sold him a 2018 Explorer 50,000 miles for $46,208.87. Totally took advantage of his age, they spoke about how they are Christians , on October 24th the price of the vehicle was 32,000.00 on Oct 31st they bumped the price up to 44,000 the day before the “sale”. Do not buy from Kunes if you are unaware of how to negotiate price, they will rob you. DO YOUR RESEARCH before you buy a vehicle!!!!

You can continue to say the same thing over and over but it still does not mean it is the truth. When some one goes into your faculty 3 weeks after you sold them a car and you offer them 10,000 less then what they paid for it that is disturbing. You over priced the vehicle to meet your needs and not the needs of the person buying. It’s not like it was one of the fancy trucks that people with money pay more for because that’s what they want, it was a common person buying a common vehicle. Everyone needs to ask for a copy of their bill of sale and look at the “discount cell” they put a negative number in this cell which will add this number to your sale price this will show you how much you over paid for the so called “market value “

Worst experience I have ever had with this place.
Worst experience I have ever had with this place. Can't believe they would change part of the contract before I signed for my car. I was told I was getting 2k for my trades and they put in my paperwork that I'm only getting 750 for both. I didn't catch it till the end as they delivered the car to my house and signed paperwork then. Took 2 days to get my copies and now they want me to pay them another 750 to keep my cars on top of the 11k I already gave them for a down payment. How shady can people be and not be up front honest with you at the start. They also stated that they had to adjust the trade due to a bank charge. REALLY!!!! I have bought 4 cars from the same dealer and was never treated shady like this before that is why I kept coming back. I would watch your paperwork before u sign anything. I'm going to call the BBB tomorrow to let them know. This is wrong the other thing they did was tell me oh we got u financed with5k down, then a day later up to 7 then that night up to 8 then next morning up to 10 then again day later they wanted 13k down now this is such bad communication and shady I can't believe how I was treated. Ya I might not have the greatest credit but I do pay my bills and make enough money to cover all my bills. This will be the last time I will buy a car from here.

So I originally bought a Subaru Impreza in may.
So I originally bought a Subaru Impreza in may. Bobby pushed me into it. They have very little inventory and told me they couldn’t get anything from their other location. He said if it ends up not working I can always come back and do a trade- I don’t have the worlds best credit. Well fast forward 9 months and it’s unusable. I have a tall 9 year old, tall fiancé and 2 medium size dogs. Call their Bobby doesn’t call me back. Can’t get calls back for brake work and recall work. I am so dissatisfied that I wish I could go with a 0.

Wow, I should have started my car buying adventure with Kunes here. My experience was very similar to those listed here. I'm surprised their sales person's name isn't listed. Let me: Josh Schaeffer, and his co shady conspirator, Jon Burns. I too was showing up to meet Josh regarding a vehicle that was shown on their website, but it had to be "Shipped" to them. I expected it to be there after 2 1/2 weeks of waiting for it to show up, and getting a call from where it was at. But NOOOO! I ended up with another vehicle, not exactly what I wanted. I emailed and/or texted these 2 with either being ghosted or minimal answers that did not answer my inquires. I am notifying the owners now. BBB, AARP, and any other organization that I can think of need to take heed of this 2 in this organization. DO not like this dealership and will never recommend them. DO not know the definition of customer service!

Waste of Time
Initially, I was particularly looking forward to working with Kunes Automotive because of their reputation and the experiences friends have had purchasing vehicles from their dealership. However, my interaction with the dealership last week was less than stellar and I have decided to no longer pursue a transaction with them because of it. After a very nice email interaction with the dealership prior to the visit, I felt it was worth the long drive out to Delavan to check out the vehicle. When I arrived at the dealership (with title in-hand to trade in my existing car), I was helped by a salesperson who advised the vehicle I came to visit was already sold and they had no others like it. When I arrived at home, I received an email from another salesperson who advised my appointment was actually with them and inquiring if I was still interested. To date, the vehicle is still listed on their website and Cars.com as available. I don't know if they just didn't want to sell to me or if the car was lost, but it was pretty disappointing. It is not clear that the employees were communicating with one another, let alone the customer (me) in this situation and I, ultimately, wasted a couple hours with this visit. Although I am still in the market for a vehicle, I do not feel comfortable moving forward with this team.

Don't bother
Had an appt with a sales person only to drive an hour and him not even show up. Another salesman attempted to "help" me purchase a vehicle. He was unprofessional and seemed like I was a bother. I left after being treated so terribly I felt like I shouldn't have even wasted my time.
