My younger son is going to college and we need another car. I set my sight on a Camry Hybrid, for its comfort and gas mileage. After an extensive search, I found one that matched my preferences at Middletown Auto Sales in, well, Middletown, Connecticut. Based on the reviews on the dealer, I decided to go there and check out the car. Note that I live in New Jersey and it's 135 miles away! So one late June Saturday my two sons and I embarked a car shopping trip that doubled as an New England road trip. Pat the Salesman I talked on the phone earlier greeted me warmly when we arrived. Then he showed us the very nice Camry Hyrbrid and I took a test drive. Pat was funny and we had a great time. I decided the car is the one. Paid a deposit and picked it up next Friday - 2nd New England road trip :-). Pat was as always nice to talk to and Joe the owner was very efficient completing the myriads of paper works so we could drive the Camry Hybrid home. I noticed several things about Middletown Auto Sales that are different than a typical used car dealer: not too many cars in lot there but all seem with very good conditions that are much above average; it has several bays providing regular car services; most impressively- it gives warranty (1000 miles / 30 days) to the used car purchased there. These really provided peace of mind for purchasing a used car there. Super nice car at a great price and super nice people to deal with. All in all a great experience.

I recently purchased a used 2008 Toyota Prius Touring from Middletown Auto Sales in Middletown, Connecticut. I found my experience to be very enjoyable and I left with my car the same day. There were no pushy sales people who stormed your vehicle as soon as you pulled in the lot. Pat and Joe were very helpful and explained everything carefully without forcing me into anything I didn't want/need. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with this dealership and would recommend it to anyone looking for a used vehicle!

I came to Middletown Auto Sales not sure what I was looking for. Pat, was very informative and great help to me and my uncle. My decision to purchase the Toyota Corolla on the lot was due to his vast knowledge of the vehicle. I wanted a vehicle that was going to be reliable and I got just that at a great price.

My wife and I had been shopping for a used car for about a month. We needed a vehicle that could pull a boat and had narrowed our search. We had visited far too many dealerships. Pat Salvatore showed us the Toyota 4Runner we saw online and also showed us a Toyota Sequoia. We never felt any pressure or any sales pitch. We got straight answers to our questions. Within an hour we chose the Sequoia. Joe Massetti, the owner, assisted with the sale and was very friendly and very professional. Mark, the head technician showed us the under side of the Sequoia and explained to us all of the new items that were added. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I recently purchased a used vehicle and I must say it was a good experience overall. I don't particularly enjoy car shopping either but I wasn't pressured at all and all the information I requested on the vehicle checked out just fine. They aren't money-hungry there unlike most other places so the vibe is calm and they are as honest as they come. I recommend.
