Shuman Motors and especially Stan Rida (sales) went out...

Shuman Motors and especially Stan Rida (sales) went out of their way with our recent purchase of our new vehicles. They had to get them from other dealers, one of the vehicles they went and got from a dealer in Indiana within a couple of days. That's customer service at it's best.

Nice lease experience

Cameron Hussey was great to work with. He made everything quick, simple and easy. The whole experience from sales (Cameron) to finance to the general sales manager (Chris Brough) was enjoyable.

I called requesting a quote for a rear wiper blade assembly install. Aston gave it to me over the phone and email. I asked for further information about my warranty coverage, He provided exactly the answer I was looking for. His friendliness and ability to multitask is exceptional. Overall poor experience.....Nickle and dime you on lease...

Overall poor experience.....Nickle and dime you on lease of a flawless returned vehicle....Sales manager was very rude to my wife when asked questions about options...Said he could only talk to me! Played the "we don't manage the leasing company" card.....never again....

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments and our apologies if we did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, without your name, I won’t be able to respond in much detail about your concerns. I would first like to apologize if for any reason your wife felt a member of our team spoke to her in a rude tone, I’m sure it was not their intention. After reading your comments it appears you received a bill from your lease company for excess wear & tear. If this is the case, I’m very sorry this happened, however, wear and tear charges come from the lease company, not your dealer. When a vehicle is returned to us, we simply notify the lease company of the vehicle's return and provide them an odometer statement. From there everything is handled by the lease company including vehicle inspection and transportation to auction. They do not allow dealers to get involved in this part of the process. Depending on the lease company, they will not even speak with us on account or inspection details. They will only speak with the person on the lease agreement due to privacy laws. Our manager was not trying to deflect responsibility, I believe he was just trying to explain the inspection and billing process for lease returns. If there is something we’ve missed, please email me your concern and contact information directly, I’ll address it right away. I would also like to offer another set of eyes on the excess wear and tear charges statement and inspection report they sent you. If you would email them to me with your concern, I’ll look everything over and depending on the lease company forward on to one of our contacts to review. Again, I’m very sorry for the trouble you’re having with your lease company, I hope this helps you better understand our involvement in the lease return process.
