Stay away, buyer beware!!!!!

I wish I could give zero stars, dealing with this group was an absolute waste of time they are extremely unprofessional. I went to look at a car, I said, I wanted it, I would’ve given him the money right then, but they did not want it because there was a question of whether or not I was going to trade in my other car. They said I could call back the next day which I did said I was going to take the vehicle without a trade-in And I said I did not want to finance it and I did not want the warranty one hour later they called me and said they sold the car out from under me so obviously they weren’t making enough money off for me. Beware of this dealership, they are extremely unprofessional. Their sales people are not well trained, and it was a total waste of my time to try and buy a car at that facility. If you read the other reviews, every single person had a review similar to mine, but yet they say they are five star and get all positive reviews, that is an absolute lie. I think they remove the negative reviews and leave the one or two positives that they got, this will probably be removed and never be read by anybody but buyer beware if by some reason this review sees the light of day !!

A Decent Transactional Experience

In July, I traded in and purchased a vehicle from Echo Park, Cicero **. To be fair, I am rating 3/5 stars. I felt EchoPark could have communicated more frequently, and been more up front about the process. I stated this in person after the transaction was completed.Transaction is a great word to describe my experience at EchoPark: This is a transaction, not a relationship. They offered me a relatively fair price for my trade, and a relatively fair price for the vehicle I purchased (although the shipping was on the high side). There is zero negotiations, period. There are zero compromises, period. Like I said: transactional.Whereas I am awaiting my title for the purchased vehicle, everything EchoPark promised me did happen, albeit relatively slowly. I understand things take time, especially in this day and age... Nonetheless, my transaction is 80% complete, and I am enjoying my new purchase.As long as you don't walk into EchoPark thinking there is going to be a long-term business relationship, discussions, compromises, and constant communication, you'll probably be somewhat satisfied. If you're someone who operates well on a transactional level, you'll love EchoPark.If EchoPark firmed up their communication skills and frequency, this could be a 4-star review. There is no excuse for the inability to communicate on a regular basis from one EchoPark contact to a customer- it's a ring of several different people, at any given time, and their internal processes are priority, not your transaction.One other note- If you are looking to just sell your car to EchoPark, I do recommend trying them out- they'll eventually ask you to visit a location for a "true assessment", but just selling your car is an easy transaction: get a price, agree to it, get a check.

Bought a jeep

Missy was excellent and explained everything very well. We were able to come and leave with the car within a couple hours. That was so amazing! I am so pleased.

2014 chevy spark

After 2 weeks of a forced sale with no opportunity to drive the vehicle because my son (inexperienced and his non- coherent mother) signed the paperwork, when I asked, did you drive the car and Wendy Stafford says too late now you already already signed, we had to have the transmission replaced( with no help from sun auto. 7 months later I am trying to figure out why he does not still have the extended warranty contract that should have been in effect, that they took money from him, and no one can figure out why except pass the buck between Allstate, SPP and Sun Auto. I have been in contact with Robin Rosenthaal numerous times, who assured me it was being taken care of. NOT NOT NOT. It goes dealer to SPP to ALLSTATE. While I'm talking to her the last time I hear laughing in the background like it's some big joke. Well it isn't. So I will have to do the work of fixing this because they can't seem to do their petty xxx simpleton jobs. ANY ONE WHO BUYS HERE BE AWARE. MOST UNPROFFESIONAL GROUP EVER.

Complicated sale process and incompetent service

Second worst experience in car buying in 28 years and 8 cars. Their prices are about 1000 USD higher then carvana or vroom (on a base of 15k). I went with the local dealer vs online to get better service - that was a mistake. My car was OK in price because they missed to price in the package that was installed (my luck and the motivation to buy from them), the sales process was silly, they expect you to bring a cashiers check when you buy cash, online banks don't do that very easily and you don't know the amount when you go shopping....so that cost me a couple of days of run around (other dealers take personal check just fine and get you out the door with your new car the same day). The whole 'fixed price' approach is silly, at a minimum you can haggle on the trade in, but they do low ball you there. They also try to charge you (optional!) processing fees (as if buying the car from them was somehow a privilege - should be priced in the sticker) . When I finally picked up the car and took it home (they prepped it very nicely, I give them that), it turned out the AC did not work right. I called and they suggested to go to the nearest dealer since they could not repair it anyway and the car still had warranty left. I had to force them to look at it and not burden me with the run around, they diagnosed it to the AC compressor and sensor ....and still send me to the dealer. At that point I was having it. Dealer repaired it with a broken part on the fan (and recommended not to drive it in between because the motor could overheat). Took a week to get the car back - but luckily I did have warranty left and the dealer repaired for free. I never heard a 'we are sorry for the trouble' from Used Car King. They provided exactly zero value along the way, my next car will be from an online vendor and certainly not Used Car King. Can not recommend their sales or service to anyone.

Shopping Online during Covid-19

Buying a car online during Covid-19 was an interesting experience. Will Cascanett made the experience very pleasurable. All CDC guidelines were adhered to! Once I found the vehicle I wanted, I reserved it, made an appointment to see it the next day and took it home that day. I love my 2016 Hyundai Accent. This is our 3rd purchase from Used Car King of Cortland.

Great experience!

Will was very knowledgeable and understood my dilemma, the crew in the service department know me pretty well from servicing my old vehicle, so Derek hooked me up with Will, who to my knowledge is one of the most experienced. He took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and worked with me throughout the day, seeing as though I had to leave to take care of other business. Everything was ready for me when I came back. I was a little apprehensive about buying another vehicle from here because of the issues I had with my old one, but that was mainly due to my own wear and tear and mileage was up there. I left the dealership with confidence in them again.

Overall process was great! Patrick did an outstanding job finding the best rate and answering all my questions! Was able to make a stressful process a lot less stressful! A big thing I loved is that they go with you on the test drive as well! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new or used car!
