I would give them ZERO stars
Really bad service. First of all, our Kona Electric was on a battery recall and Hyundai had the dealership take possession of the car in December 2021 because of hazards from the faulty battery. For three months, Matthews gave us vague and conflicting information about when our new battery would arrive (at one point they told us it would be ready in 3-5 days, but that turned out to be bogus). The seemed totally helpless in dealing with Hyundai (the company also acquitted itself terribly - we're never buying a Hyundai again). They were also initially unwilling to get us a loaner car, saying one wasn't available, until my wife personally contacted a rental company in the area and got a car. Fortunately, Matthews did pay for it. Finally, when we were out of town, we got a call, with no prior warning, from Matthews that the battery had been repaired. They told us initially that we would have to now start paying for the rental even though we were across the country and couldn't return the car. Then, the manager at Matthews relented and told us he would tell the rental company that they would cover the rental until we got back to Syracuse. He never got back to the rental company and they then towed the car, damaging our neighbor's lawn in the process. Well, we did get back our EV Kona with the new battery, but Matthews didn't even have the courtesy, after months of inconvenience, to give it to us fully charged. Overall, they also seem to know little about EVs. We're looking for another Hyundai dealership. This is just unacceptable.

Matthews Hyundai Formerly Fuccilo.Dont Buy From them Horrible Service Department. Brand New 2021 Car 1st Month in Shop 3 weeks out of 5 weeks.Drove Car Lost All Electrical .Towed to Dealership Replaces Module and Happens Again and Then Airbag lights on.Bring Car back and kept 2 weeks to Try figure Out as Even Engineers for Hyundai didn't know How to Correct.It.So order another Module and Then took my Remote Starter Out without Giving Reason y or telling Me a Real Answer.Said would put back in if this module worked waited 3 weeks called Dominic Servixe Mgr.said was calling to get Remote starter appointment .I called back 2 days later as He never as Usual NEVER Calls Back to say will not Put My Starter back in.Worst Experience !I Have been on Phones with Corporate and Now Contacted BBB and they Are Contacting Consumer Affairs to look into It as Matthews Says Other 2021 Sante Fes are Coming back with same Issues.I Dont feel Safe in this Vehicle.I was in A Rollover Crash prior to buying this and Only Reason Bought this Car as Mine Was Totaled.I Have ony 1200 miles on this Vehicle in 4 months as They have It more than Me and Petrified to Drive this Vehicle.Dont Buy 2021 Sante Fe nothing but Problems and Matthews Hyundai on Erie Blvd. Is Horrible.

Go somewhere else
It would be better if I were able to leave no stars. I am disgusted by the customer service here. We drove over an hour to go here to buy a vehicle they said we will confirm it in the morning it is still available before we left we made sure it was. Drove all the way out there and they said let me check I think it sold last night. Then they tried to have us buy the one on order that came in next month. They know they will get the sales for their vehicles so why bother providing any customer service? Also it is a Hyundai... we received better customer service at Mercedes and Porsche

Horrible products
Bought a 2021 Hyundai Kona SEL plus not too long ago from this dealership. Before taking it off the lot, I wanted to do a 360 spot check. I found so many scratches on this “new vehicle” and they initially played it off as cleaning residues. I had to show them every single paint scratch with my finger. They then told me to bring it in next week and they will take care of it. After the second visit and another car detail, new paint deficiencies were caught and brought to their attention. I honestly believe they purposely damage the customer’s new vehicle. Took it back a third time and the paint deficiencies are still there! This must be a joke to tell me to bring my “new car” back and forth with each trip adding 120 miles to the car. I told the GM I’m done. You guys can’t do your job. I’ll go home and accept your joke but I don’t know how the owners can sleep at night. Incompetence from the top to the bottom, except for Mr. Greg. To all new buyers, spot-check your new car before you take the new car off the lot!! Teach this dealership to accept responsibility and accountability for their actions. You can see the photos as proof of their "new car".

I went there to see what was wrong with my radio and to...
I went there to see what was wrong with my radio and to possibly buy some tires. I ended up not purchasing anything from them because they are over priced. I pick up my car, pay them for looking at it, and leave. After that, I went to Dunkin to get coffee, all the quarters in my middle console were gone. I keep quarters in my car for coffee because I'm a nurse who runs on Dunkin. The only people who had my car since yesterday and today were Fuccillo. I called the service manager to say that someone stole the quarters out of my car. He says that the guy who worked on my car, wouldn't hurt a fly and said I was lying. I will never go back to you guys. You're not just over priced, you're shady as xxxx too. And with the other reviews on here, mines just a little piece of the messed up service here.

A very happy customer
I bought a 2021 Hyundai Kona on Wednesday January 13th (after my 2016 accent was totaled by a dump truck. Everyone was great. The finance man was awesome, the people at the desk and computer under the tv on the wall were very nice. Nida was my sales lady. She was very sweet, personable, professional and helpful. Prevash was also a very nice sales man as well. Highly recommend!!

Did credit app then got a call from customer service. I told her I didnt want to drive an hour to be told they cant help me. She said "no, we just need to see your trade, we can help you!" Drove an hour, cant help me and didnt even look at my trade! Beyond frustrated!

Unprofessional
Based on my experience I would never purchase a car there ever. I came to buy a used car they advertised. I told my salesperson I was going to pay cash but she ran a credit check. After taking the car to my mechanic who discover numerous issues, I offered to buy the vehicle at a price. My salesperson never acknowledged that and never responded yess or no. Next I am told they no longer have the car and auctioned it out due to too many issues with it. Then I get a letter telling me I was turned down for credit that I never asked for lack of recent auto loan info and lack of recent loan info. Also they gave me a credit score of 793. I recive credit scores from two other sources and they have never been under 811 in well over a year. I guess they don’t want you paying cash as they can’t collect interest. All of those commercials saying they can get you financed must be a lie if someone with good credit is turned down. Buy Billy!

Service Center HUGELY inefficient!
I spent 4 1/2 hours at the service center to diagnose a rattle in the front end and an issue with my blind spot sensors. That would have been too much time to wait even if they actually fixed the problems, but they fixed NOTHING!! It took them 90 minutes to diagnose the problem (after I texted the service manager and hurried him along). I agreed to a new PVC valve and an oil change, but indicated I didn't have time for the other work that day. Two and a half hours later, I asked at the window to check on the status of my repair. Turns out, they still hadn't even started the oil change! I was upset, and told them I just didn't have any more time to wait and to please just give me my car back. Took them half an hour more just to bring my car around. It wasn't washed, it wasn't fixed, and they didn't even top off the oil to make sure I got home safely. But they were sure to charge me $70 to tell me my oil was low and there "might be something interfering with the BSD sensors." DUH! I told YOU that! I will never be back, for service or to purchase a vehicle. I have no time or patience to deal with this level of incompetence.
