Great service

Tony was very helpful in helping us determine the best fit for a new lease. They handled everything from the return of the previous lease to letting us go home with our new lease that day. Tom worked with us on pricing to get us a deal we were comfortable with and they even took care of our over miles from the previous lease. Kamu was also very helpful in walking us through the paperwork and financing.

Awful Management

Every time I go to Honda of Nanuet for service I ask myself why. Dominick Garetson the manager is the absolute worse. He is rude, dismissive and operates as if it is all about him. The last time I went, they gave me a ticket but did not process my car. They told me the work would take 3 hours so i waited and after three hours learned they had not touched my car. Dominick instead of apologizing for their error blamed me. He said I'd been there before so I should have know that without a sheet detailing the work, I should have known they weren't working on my car. Absolutely unprofessional response. But its always the same, they goof and he blames the customer. HIs attitude desperately needs an adjustment. Today I went for a recall and instead of him saying I am sorry you need to schedule an appointment for a recall he was curt and dismissive. How does he still have this role?? unfortunately his disrespect of the customers has an impact on his staff. Change the head and the tail will follow. I believe the staff have the potential to be decent customer service reps but what they see from Dominick is a poor example. I had been having my car dealer serviced for years but I'd rather go anywhere but to this service center.

Nessa, we sincerely apologize for your experience while visiting us. Because we service so many vehicles in a day, arriving without an appointment usually means the vehicle will be worked on as soon as scheduled vehicles are completed. We offered to do the recall the following morning or offered to schedule you an appointment to have it completed on another day. We also ask upon arrival that each customer speaks with the service advisor, which is written on a very large red stop sign on the glass door going into the waiting area. I would also like to apologize if you felt that myself or anyone else was rude to you. I have been at this store for 15 years and I don’t ever want a customer to feel that way. Tony is Exceptional!

Family friends financed a car in Paramus last year with Tony. They had recommended me and it was the best recommendation and decision I have made. Tony made sure the whole process went smoothly. He is very approachable and understanding. Once I purchased my car, Tony took the initiative to show me how all the features of my car work. He even set it up with my own preferences! Once I drove off, Tony followed-up if I am enjoying my car and if I was happy with my deal. I would definitely recommend coming to this Honda location and working with Tony.
