We were searching for a safe family car, since we just

We were searching for a safe family car, since we just had a baby, and found a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Honda Nanuet with about 28,000 miles and a clean CarFax showing no accidents. The only challenging part was that it was in another state—about an hour away from home. Since we have a newborn baby, we asked the sales rep to FaceTime us so we could see the car before making the long drive. The FaceTime walkthrough looked great, the listing showed everything was perfect, and we agreed on the ballpark of the price, pending a test drive the next day. We were ready to sign that day. Halfway through the drive to the dealership with our newborn in the car, I discovered on a random auction site—where the car had been purchased from—that the car had been in a major accident a few months ago. This information was nowhere on Honda’s listing (their site or Cars.com), during the FaceTime walkthrough, or on the CarFax. I called the dealership to let them know we weren’t coming given the circumstances. Hours later, the car was still listed on their website, and another rep reached out to me asking if I wasn’t still interested, thereby showing a complete lack of urgency to fix the matter. We arranged our day, annd our baby’s day, around this trip and were moments away from handing them a $30,000 check. I cannot recommend this dealership any less due to their falsifying of information, unethical business practices, and dishonesty.

This place is really nice.

This place is really nice. Everybody we dealt with seemed honest and low pressure. Gene Joseph was the best sales person I have ever worked with. He was honest, low pressure and knowledgeable. He let the car sell itself without any agenda, he was upfront, no hidden anything. Darwish at finance was great too. The whole experience was great, I have already recommended them to others and I just got my car yesterday.

A Promising Deal, a Frustrating Ordeal at Honda of Nanuet I recently visited Honda of Nanuet, NY, for a 2024 Honda Accord, drawn in by attractive online prices. The initial excitement was quickly tempered when my salesperson, Mehmet, surprised me with an unexpected $300 add-on, even after a full price was committed over email. I reluctantly agreed, as I needed a car for my commute. My 1 PM arrival kicked off what became a grueling six-and-a-half-hour ordeal. Mehmet wouldn't let me leave for snack/lunch, constantly assuring me things were "almost done & you cannot leave now." At 5 PM, I finally met finance manager Kamu, who, after hearing about my frustrating wait, vowed to speak with Mehmet and promised "free floor mats" for our troubles saying "please dont go bash us on google reviews, haha". It's been four months now, and those "free" floor mats are nowhere to be seen. All communication from the dealership has simply stopped. It's clear that once they have your money, their promises vanish into thin air. It's not the mats, it's about unfulfilled promises and a blatant disregard for customer time. Seems their word, unfortunately, means little once the sale is done. Stay away, not worth a long drive.
