Jaw dropping experience! 🤩

Wow!! must I say what an awesome selection of cars, went to their lot to view some of their vehicles and my jaw dropped as I drove up to the entrance.. I was greeted by a professional salesperson named Alex he was a pleasure to work with and not pushy at all like these other places. Overall my experience 10/10

Beware

I saw this beautiful 2006 Mercedes SLK280 with only 52800 miles on it. The price on Cars.com was $12977. So I called RMS Motors up and set up a time to look at the car. That was my first mistake. I took the SLK280 on a 5 minute test drive and was impressed with the car overall. We went in to make the deal. Right away the cars was $13800. The ad on Cars.com said $12977. Can I see the ad. Sure, I have it saved on my phone. Hmm. What happen to the ad. There's all your other cars ads. But not the car I was looking to buy. Well the best Alex could do was $13300. Well I really liked the car. And as all I was going to do was show the car or a weekend cruise, OK $13300. I won't go into the rest of the deal. Only to say if you do buy from RMS Motors, don't use cash (My second mistake). Write a check and get a receipt. Over the next 10 days I drove the car around. Got a feel for the controls and took it on a 100 mile cruise. Got the title. Had the car inspected and registered. With 53400 mile (600 miles total) on the SLK280, on the way home, in town, I was pulling away from a stop sign and BANG... the motor blew up with parts flying all over the road. Now I have a 3000 pound paper weight in my driveway. Called Alex and told him what happens. Then i got ghosted. Didn't get a call back until the BBB call on my behalf. Then he sent me a check that just about covered the cost of shipping a used motor up from Florida. Car is now in shop getting the used motor installed. Then off to the body shop to pound in the dents in the hood. You don't want to know the cost. Beware the great deals at RMS Motors.

Be Careful of this Dealership

I went there on the advice of a co worker as he told me that RMS gave him more for his car than anyone else would. On my first and only trip there I met with Tony R. And I told him that I wanted his best deal up front as I'm on chemo and I told him that I wanted 1 more convertible before I leave this world. I was trading my 2003 350Z with 59,000 miles on their car that was a 2006 350Z convertible. Both cars were automatic and had autoshift. Initially they were gonna give me $7200.00 for my car and I was gonna have to come up with over $7000.00 cash. I declined and was offered $9000.00 on an 07 350Z at another dealership in glenshaw. After telling Tony R this he asked me to wait and he would talk to his business partners to give me a better deal. So the next day he offered me $8500.00 for my Z and wanted $5600.00 cash which he said in essence was giving me over $9000.00 for my Z. So I decided to do this deal until I found out that they weren't giving me any kinda warranty on their Z whatsoever. I believe the Lemon law in Pa for a dealer is 30 days, in which , they weren't offering. So I mixed the deal on top of Carfax stating that their Z had 5 (five) previous owner's. After figuring out all the math in my head it appeared that they were gonna make over $7000.00 on my deal. I don't mind a dealer making some money on a deal but this was ridiculous. Plus I have a lifetime Power train warranty on my Z from 228 auto mall who is gonna look for a rag top for me at the auction

Unprofessionalism at its best

Terrible customer service. Went there to look at vehicle that was supposed to have low mileage. Found oil change stickers that contradict there claims. Vehicles mileage was rolled over. Then made a deal on another car. Promised to fix abs. Got loan in meantime there mechanics weren't bright enough to fix problem and refused to send to a garage with the skills to fix it. So they broke agreement and I had to return loan to bank. Very unprofessional !!! Stay far away from these people. They will try to rip you off anyway they can!!
