Fantastic experience!

This was the BEST car buying experience we have ever had. We worked with Christian Wallace, and he was fantastic. Honda of Champaign has a no-haggle policy where they give you the best deal up front rather than have to argue over the price - and it was much lower than our negotiated price at other dealers. We will definitely be back here when it's time to buy another vehicle!

Outstanding Customer Service

I originally went into this dealership looking at leasing a Honda Civic EX and Marty went out of his way to find me a brand new 2017 Honda Civic LX model with far more additional features. Not only was he more than willing to work with me to stay within my price range, but he was able to get the monthly price down BELOW it. I would strongly recommend purchasing a car from this dealership, ESPECIALLY if you are a first-time car buyer like myself. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Price negotiation was not a competitive battle, but rather Marty worked along side me in speaking with the financial office and was able to get me an unbelievable deal in the end.

Second Honda Purchase

A close friend needed a new car. On my recommendation, she went to see Christian at Honda of Champaign. She had been looking for an SUV, and the CR-V was just what she wanted. She found a clean 2013, and now enjoys that very dependable, very comfortable, very utilitarian car. Thanks Honda of Champaign, and thanks Christian!

"Great Experience"

I just got a brand new Honda CR-V from there. Great staff and clean facility. Very professional, polite and work with you to get the exact vehicle you want. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy their next vehicle.

First new car

Courteous and knowledgeable staff. They had the product we wanted on hand. Richard spent plenty of time with us to make sure we knew what we were getting. As soon as we were sure about what we wanted the paperwork was taken care of quickly and we were driving away quite happily in our new car.

Very poor customer relations after making a purchase

Very poor customer relations after making a purchase. I bought a used 2014 Civic in a month or two ago from them. Spring rolled around and I tried to turn on the AC for the first time and discovered that it didn't work. I brought it back in hoping they would be helpful and fix the issue for at least at a discounted rate since they sold it to me with the issue and I had only made one payment on the vehicle. They refused to give me any leniency at all and were going to charge me $110/hr just to diagnose the issue. I would expect a dealership like this to have a little better customer relationship than to just dismiss me the second I drive my vehicle off the lot. While I understand that they are making a business decision to not provide me any leniency, their decision will keep me from doing any future business with this dealership again.

A+ in our books!

My husband is 6'5" and I am 6' and finding a car to fit us that was within our budget was becoming a difficult process. We found a car on-line at Honda & BMW of Champaign that we thought we wanted. Upon arriving, the first salesman we saw was Dale McElroy. He was friendly, relaxed, and fun. He took us a a test drive but we weren't convinced about the car. We told him we wanted more time to ponder it, and he replied, "Ponder all you want." How refreshing ... that had not been our experience at other auto dealerships. As we were about to leave, he said, "Just a minute ..." and returned with the keys to a car that was a make we had never even considered. Combining his kind perception of us and his vast wisdom on cars, Dale introduced us to the car we fell in love with. He understood and respected our unique needs and our individual wants. He saved us a lot of time, and he made the entire sale process enjoyable from beginning to end. We are totally satisfied with our car purchase at Honda & BMW of Champaign..

Best Honda price and customer service in Central IL

Within our household we don't purchase vehicles often, but when we do, those vehicles have always been pre-owned Hondas. Recently we decided that it was time to purchase new as we were having trouble finding exactly what we wanted in older models, and the price point was not significantly higher than pre-owned. We live in Bloomington, IL so Champaign was not the first place we looked. A day after doing various online quotes, Richard from BMW of Champaign reached out and listened to exactly what we wanted. Due to a strict "Dave Ramsey" budget we were not ready to purchase for another 3 months, however Richard said no problem and contacted us at a later date we provided. Although Richard was extremely passionate about getting us what we wanted, not once did we feel pressured. And during pricing negotiation, it always felt like a win-win transaction. At the end of the day, we chose Honda and BMW of Champaign because of two things, customer service and price. Richard offered a military incentive that really helped bring the price to a place no other dealer would, and trust me we asked other Honda dealers if they could offer the same military "type" savings, but none in central IL would meet Champaign's price. In addition to price, and possibly the deciding factor, Richard said something that no other dealer did when we inquired about military discounts, he thanked me for my service. Although I'm not much for military recognition, something about his sincere appreciation meant a lot and made him stand out among the rest, even though we never met face to face until the day we purchased. Lastly, we appreciate the time that other Honda dealers and salesman in the surrounding area spent with my spouse and me during our search. We had to make the best financial decision for our household and do what felt right, and that was with Richard at Honda and BMW of Champaign. We couldn't be more happy with our decision.

Excellant

Easiest car buying experience ever. Total time about an hour to talk, deal, purchase, pick up!!!!! Very easy to deal with. Saved me thousands over two other local dealers!! Down to earth. Dealer in neighboring town somewhat arrogant. Recommend Honda of champaign to everyone. Love the Pilot!!

What a great car buying experience. Christian Wallace was great and Chad in Finance as well. They made this so easy and we got a great car at a great price!!
