Kennedy Ford Conshohocken

Could not be happier with my experience, or the car I purchased from the John Kennedy Ford dealership in Conshohocken. The process was fairly quick and painless, customer service definitely is the number one priority at this dealership! Would like to thank Pete Gonzalez and the entire team for helping me get into the car I wanted!

Happy Customer

I recently purchased a used SUV from this dealership. I inquired online on a specific vehicle, and the Internet manager hooked me up with Pete G. at the Coshohoken location to help me look at the vehicle. When I arrived (from VA) the vehicle was ready and open to look over, he highlighted the features and was ready for me to take a test drive right away. After the drive, Pete left me time to go over the vehicle alone and make notes to ask questions. He was pleasant and patient, as I had a very specific budget, payment and cost to stick to. When I mis-figured my states tax rate and I was over my budget, he worked with me to still get me into the vehicle I wanted. Ultimately, they met my needs and terms and made a sale. We didn't play the back-and-forth game that so many dealers still play with prices and payoffs. He also assured me that because I was out of state and didn't have time for a mechanical inspection, I could visit my local dealer and if there were any problems, all their cars come with 3,000 mile/3 mo warranty on powertrain. If a problem was found I just had to call work out a solution from my home area. (I have not had any issues as of yet, only had car 6 days) He also followed up the next day to make sure I had no other questions or concerns and was able to send me information right away, that I inadvertently left behind. The only non-stellar part was probably because I was so rushed, but I didn't get copies of all papers I signed, with regard to an out of state purchase, as I wanted to transfer tags. I didn't get copies of the power of attorney or any other DMV-related paperwork.

Great service from a great place!!!!

I'm a 24 year old coming off a bad experience with my previous vehicle. Frustrated, I needed another car to get me around. Thanks to Pete and the rest of the John Kennedy team I was able to get back in some wheels and in style. Very welcoming team and place to buy a great vehicle. Thank you Pete for your patience and help putting me in a car I can call mine.

Outstanding Customer Service and Buying Experience

I was very impressed with all personnel at this dealership on a recent used car shopping spree. Scott Van Holt was my sales person. He is a seasoned veteran to the industry and was a great resource who took care of all my questions and requests. The Sales Manager, Ted Gilbert was also very helpful and courteous and filled in for Scott on an off day. My biggest shout out is to the GM, Chris Mancini. Chris is a consummate professional who clearly understood my transportation needs. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. You can clearly see why Chris is the GM of this great dealership.....because he is the best! My compliments to the Kennedy family for their excellent choice on staffing. Cheers to many trouble free miles on my used Toyota!!

Great Experience @ Kennedy Ford in Conshohocken

I was shopping for a Commercial Truck for my company and I found a potential vehicle via the Internet at John Kennedy Ford in Conshohocken. I visited the dealership in person and met a fantastic salesperson, Pete Gonzalez. He created what was one of the best sales/service experiences I've ever had. Never once did he "sell" me, rather he educated me. His attention to detail and anticipation were outstanding. He made the process seamless and without any issues. I would highly recommend Pete Gonzalez to someone investing in either a personal or commercial vehicle.

Pleasant and hassle free

Tony S from this dealership was a great person to work with on looking for a good used car. I would have purchased the carp if it hadn't Ben sold already before I made my decision. :( But, tony and I are still looking together for what I need so if he finds something, I will definitely work with him in a heartbeat. Respect and genuineness go a long way with me!

Pleasant car buying experience

I saw the car I was interested in buying on line. I made an appointment by phone and then went to the dealer as scheduled. I was met at the door by an appointment board indicating which salesman was to assist me. Fred was very compatible with me and we went for a test drive that allowed me to decide if the car was right for me. I got a fair price for my trade in. I was pleased with the process and left with my new car the same day. I am now enjoying my new car, and feel that I got a good car at a fair price, without any undue pressure.

Henry Thank you for being our customer- we attempt to price our vehicles so they have value in the market- obviously, you saw it that way too. We get a lot of customers from bordering states. if you think about this process and your experience, isn't that the way its supposed to be? Chris Mancini- GM

Great Experience

I traded in my leased Toyota Tacoma for a more fuel-efficient Ford Fusion. Pete Gonzalez worked with me through the buying process in a very patient and laid-back manner. I told him up front I was taking my time and trying different vehicles - even those from other manufacturers. This didn't phase Pete because he believes in the product he sells. After testing several vehicles, I found one I liked. Pete made the buying process quick and easy. He even stayed late on a very cold Friday night to complete the purchase. To top it off, after finding out they only had one key for the vehicle, Pete set me up to have a second key programmed at no charge. Great job, Pete!

Nightmare Experience!

I purchased a car here 2 months ago. As I drove it home, the check engine light came on. The next day they told me they just had to replace a couple vacuum hoses, but later I learned that they replaced the catalytic converter with a generic after-market one that was not suited for my vehicle WITHOUT TELLING ME. This means my check engine light comes on and stays on, until I can replace it with an appropriate one. On top of that, two weeks after I purchased it when the check engine light came on again, they replaced the engine with a junkyard engine. They had my car for over two weeks and while they were working on it, they broke mass flow connectors, my side light, and cracked the windshield. They used an after-market engine and did not connect it properly which has cost me over $1000 to have it repaired. I had my car appraised today, and it is now worth less than one-third than what I paid for it, which I was told was directly related to the junkyard engine and the inappropriate catalytic converter. I have had my car for 7 weeks (they had it for 2). This is by far the worst customer service experience of my life. Their service department made me lose the entire purchase value of the vehicle and has refused to pay for the repairs due to their mistakes. I would steer very clear of this dealership and service department.

Wow- what a shame for all parties involved. Lauren purchased a vehicle from us with a powertrain warranty only. We replaced the engine in good faith at no cost to her. We replaced the catalytic converter at no cost to her even though it would not have been covered under the warranty because it was the right thing to do. There would be no reason to knowingly put the incorrect coverter in because it would just inconvenience her more and she would have to come back. We have offered to fix the vehiocle or trade her out of it but she has not taken advantage of these offers at this time. This is a shame because we have tried our best to fix the issues with her vehicle in good faith. Chris Mancini - GM
