Buyer Beware - Bring your own Mechanic!

Buyers beware - Bring your own mechanic because they won’t stand behind their product after the sale. Purchased a 2014 Escalade with 31,000 miles from them for nearly $40,000 a couple weeks ago. I live 350 miles away and this was an expensive long distance purchase. Was assured the vehicle has passed their rigorous safety inspection with flying colors and needed nothing. 2 weeks later the brakes are grinding and vehicle needs a complete brake job. Rear pads are metal-on-metal (see pics) and fronts have only 10% pad life left. Manager at Boyd says that’s not possible, vehicle couldn’t have worn the parts out that quick, and that I'm out of luck. I’m no mechanic but can clearly see the parts that came off the car are worn out. I don’t know if this vehicle slipped through the cracks during their "inspection" or what happened, but Boyd has no intention to rectify this, which is too bad, as I bought this vehicle from them soley based on their reputation.

Failing Customer Service

Be careful what you do with them, they are not honest and will do anything to sell you a vehicle all the way from the financing to the delivery!! It all started out beautiful but when the final purchase and delivery came and now helping with issues they seem to do as they wish and you are no longer a priority.

So Excited

I was fortunate to have Chris Hartnett and Julie Brozie to help me with my first experience at Bob Boyd! They were friendly , helpful and a pleasure to work with. They made my first new car experience in 20 plus years, one I will remember. Thank you Both!

Easy and Fun Luxury Car Buying Experience

I just purchased a 2018 Lincoln MKC from Jack Songailo at Bob-Boyd. He made it easy and fun to purchase. I looked at few other comparable vehicles and none measured up; vehicle or dealership. The MKC Select had everything I wanted in a perfect sized vehicle for me and my family, (3). Hoping to enjoy the next 36-9 months in my new Lincoln.

Thank you Cody!

I had a wonderful experience with Cody Culbertson and Tim Clark! My situation was a very sad one - my 68,000 mi VW Tiguan bit the dust. :( Tim and Cody worked with me to get everything resolved, and I really love my MKX. My father referred me to Bob-Boyd and I will definitely refer my friends!

Excellent total experience.

I had an excellent experience due to the professionalism of Leo Brown, Julie Brozie, Tina Brady and the Gentleman who provided the repair estimate. Very pleasant experience.

Best experience ever

I never write reviews about anything especially car buying but John Dillon and Bob Boyd Lincoln changed all that for me and now I want to share this positive experience and recommend you look at BB Lincoln. This was no hassle right out of the gate. They listened to me, it was not a back and forth battle between me and the Sales Manager or the finance manager, I know that silly game, it didn't happen. I told him where I needed to be and one trip back from the computer and he made it work. Guess what, I bought a car. More dealers should model after BB Lincoln, they set the standard.

Quick and easy

we new what car we wanted and did not want to spend a lot of time. They made it very convenient and hassle free. Fair price without having to haggle.

Collision Repair

My 2015 Dodge Challenger was significantly damaged by a semi. The passenger side, from the side view mirror through the rear quarter panel was damaged. They were excellent to work with. They kept us informed of the status of the repairs and made sure that it was absolutely perfect when they returned it to me. The quality of the repair was outstanding. You can't tell the car was damaged in any way. They went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable through the entire process. I also had the opportunity to speak with the gentleman who detailed my car (I forget his name) and it was impressive to see someone who takes so much pride in his work!! Outstanding service on all levels!!!!
