I went to DCH Toyota to look at a used vehicle I had seen...
I went to DCH Toyota to look at a used vehicle I had seen on their website. From the moment I walked in the front doors until I drove off with my car a couple days later, I was treated with nothing but friendly, considerate and efficient personnel. My salesman was Michael Gottuso, who I can tell you goes well beyond the normal car salesman. He was so professional and friendly during my dealing with him and went out of his way to make sure that my purchase went as smoothly as possible. I was treated by everyone at DCH Toyota as if I purchasing a new, high-end model Toyota, instead of an older used vehicle. I am completely satisfied with the dealings of the sales department, as well as the financing of the vehicle. I will recommend DCH to anyone I know that is in the market for a new or used vehicle. From a completely satisfied customer who just loves her new used SUV.

Thank you so much Scott and DCH Toyota for all your help in assisting me choose my first new car! Scott was very professional and knowledgeable. I feel he provided the best possible customer service and appreciate him taking the time to fully explain all options. I rated 5 stars because of the friendly environment, professionalism, the great customer service. I did not at all feel pressured to buy or sign at any time. I felt assured in making my final decision. Yes I would recommend Scott and DCH Toyota and will certainly be returning for future business.

My wife and I were looking to trade in our lease and purchase a new Rav 4. We never considered going to any other dealer because of the wonderful customer seervice that your Toyota dealership provides. We met with Dan and he really took his time to discuss every detail with us. He never hasselled us, made us feel pressurred and always made sure we were comfortable. When we came in to finalize our purchase, again, Dan and his co-workers were very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this dealership when looking to purchase a new car. We will definitely do business here again.

On October 6th, 2012, I made the decision to purchase a brand new vehicle. I have always owned used cars, so this was a new experience. I had heard nightmares about pushy sales people, haggling, and the process about purchasing a vehicle from a dealership as an undesirable chore. The minute I walked through the door into the showroom, I was greeted with a friendly smile from Michael Maresca. He asked me what I WANTED, not what I "should have." It was great to see that he was willing to make what I wanted happen - not push something onto me that I didn't want (lease). I told him what I wanted to purchase a vehicle, I told him my budget, and I told him about my trade in vehicle. His personality was magnetic. I didn't feel like I was dealing with a "sales man". It felt much more personal - as if I were talking to one of my friends. I had 1,000 questions and he provided me with 1,000 answers. Not once did I feel uncomfortable nor pressured. I felt that my feelings mattered and I was treated with the highest level of courtesy and respect. He spent a lot of time with me and showed me the cars I wanted to see. He showed me every feature of the car inside and out and I had decided that the 2012 Camry SE was the perfect car for me. I was sold on this car, but I decided to think about it overnight to ensure that I was making the right decision (purchasing a vehicle is a serious decision and I did not want to rush a purchase). The next day, I returned to the dealership to take a second look at the Camry. Michael was with another customer at the time, so I was greeted by Bill Albrecht. He was very nice and he was very understanding of what I wanted. He answered all of my additional questions and I decided to purchase the vehicle. The next day (Monday) I returned to sign the papers. The car was squeaky clean and in tip top shape. Bill got all of the final paperwork ready. I sat with Mr. Goldberg to sign the paperwork. Mr. Goldberg explained everything that I had to sign, answered all of my questions, and went through all of the additional extended warranty options. I elected to purchase GAP insurance for my protection. Once all of the paperwork was signed, Bill escorted me to my new vehicle and showed me everything I needed to know (how to turn on the lights, wipers...etc). He gave me his business card and said if I ever needed anything to call. A week later, I received a phone call from Mike and Bill to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my purchase and if I had any additional questions. It was nice to see that once the sale was done, my customer satisfaction was still VALUED. This was the best experience and I am so happy that it went so smooth. Purchasing a vehicle from Wappingers Toyota was far from a nightmare, it was a dream come true. I love my car, I love the service I received, and Wappingers Toyota will always be my #1 referral to friends and family. THANK YOU!

When the Customer was Not Taken Seriously
Recently, I bought my 2nd Toyota from DCH in Wappingers. As a returning customer, I thought that I had found a dealership that was fair and honest and that was genuinely concerned about my experience as a customer. I could not have been more wrong. My first concern took place when the Business Manager, Robert Goldberg, came to speak to my husband and me about specifics. My husband was on the phone with the insurance company when Robert sat down. He told me he just had a few questions. I advised him he could speak to me as I was buying the car, but Robert refused and told me he would wait to speak to my husband. He proceeded to be so extremely rude and difficult that we considered walking away from the deal we had just made. There were issues with details about price and warranties that we had been told by our original sales person. Robert did not make good on any of the figures we had been quoted. We chalked it up to him having a bad day, but after a half-hearted apology we continued with the purchasing process as we really loved the car. The other sales people and managers were great during the purchasing process. Everyone told me exactly what I wanted to hear in order to make such a major purchase. I test drove the car, loved it, and did not see any problems with it on my initial visit. I picked the car up after hours when it was dark and drove off in what I assumed was a perfect vehicle. The next morning I noticed a crack in my windshield. I immediately called the dealership and left an urgent message explaining there was a problem with the car that I had driven off the lot 12 hours earlier and I needed a call right away. No one called me. My husband later called and no one took our issue seriously. We were not apologized to and they asked us if we could bring the car in to be looked at days later. It took serious persuading for them to allow us to bring the car back that night. When I finally did so I was told that the windshield would be repaired rather than replaced. I found this unacceptable as I had just bought the car and I had unknowingly driven the car off the lot this way. I had to speak to a manager for 30 minutes before these gentlemen who claim to "deliver customer happiness" agreed to replace my windshield. When I told them I felt like I was not being taken seriously the Sales Manager, Daryl Callahan, advised me they were taking me seriously. They were allowing me to drive a rental while they fixed my car that I had just bought. I found these comments and overall demeanor from Daryl to be both insulting and demeaning. I have never felt so mislead. This dealership will do anything to get you to purchase a car...and then go back on promises and assurances. I will never buy a car here again.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a used vehicle for DCH WAPPINGERS FALLS TOYOTA. Melissa Sinapi was so friendly & knowlegible even when I purchaes a non Toyota vehicle. Corey in finace made everything go so smoothly. I can't speak highly enough on my experience at this dealership. I was such a nice difference from other dealerships that I have dealt with in the past. I will recommend this dealership & especially Melissa to anyone that I know who is looking for a car.
