Had a pleasant car purchasing experience with Phil Knight. He was friendly & helpful. The dealership was clean & offered coffee & snacks. Only problem we felt was that the gas tank was given to us with under a 1/2 tank of gas.

See The USA in my New Chevrolet!

With Peter Grohl-Sales Consultant I received excellent customer service.Pete went above and beyond gave 110%! He was very attentive to my needs for a new Chevy Equinox 2018. It was a long day for both of us to process credit info and paper work for my purchase. He lighten the mood, stayed attentive and calm. NO pressure! He knew I didn't want a SUV with bells and whistles. We laugh for that was the first time I heard that phrase. Peter sat with me in my new SUV went over all the new features: On Star and Sirus Radio stations. Peter was very observant and attentive he noticed my ELVIS eye case and asked if I was a Elvis fan? Needless to say out of the blue at the end of my purchase he gave me an ELVIS Christmas decoration. WOW! What a GUY! Barton is very fortunate to have a Sales Consultant named Peter Grohl in their business. I will send my friends and family when they wish to purchase a car. Thanks you Peter for being honest and making my day with a new car. ELVIS'S #1 FAN and now a fan of yours.

A New Truck made Easy

I was really on the fence over buying a new truck. I had been shopping around. I wasn't impressed at by the Toyota or Nissan mid-size pick ups. Ford wasn't bringing back the Ranger until next year. And truth be told if Dodge still made the Dakota I would have probably went back to them. So, that left me with Chevrolet. It was almost love at first sight when I saw my Colorado. But what really sold me on the truck was Pete Grohl's approach to the sale. I do not like high pressure salespeople. I do not like pestered on the phone day after day. He put me at ease right away. All my questions were answered. He did not try to push the vehicle on to me. I felt everything was being done at a comfortable pace, as if I were being rushed into anything. Pete made buying a new truck easy for me. And he even gave me a vintage Sturgis Harley T-shirt as a bonus!

Best experience

I went to Barton Chevrolet to purchase a preowned vehicle. I had specific needs and preferences. The gentleman with whom I had the distinct pleasure of working with was Philip Knight. He was extremely patient with me, showed me a number of cars to see if any would be appropriate. There were non in stock, so he said that they would search for one. In a few days he called me and told me what they were able to locate. When I saw the car and did the test drive, it looked brand new, was very well equipped, and met all my requirements. Mr. Knight proved to be a very pleasant person who knew his product. He was direct and completely forthcoming about the pros and cons of the car, which I purchased. I would recommend Barton Chevrolet to anyone who needs a car, and would strongly advise that they work with Mr. Knight.

Phil’s customer service was excellent he actually took over for Pete with the Beard. Both gave great customer service both were efficient and professional and very detailed

Easier than I thought it would be

I've never bought a vehicle from a dealership before and I was super stressed and anxious when I had to get a new (to me) car. Phil was the sales person who had the great pleasure of dealing with me during this process. I came in on Friday and test drove a Cadillac SRX. It was great, but not exactly the right one for me. The next day I drove out to Goshen to test drive a Lincoln, also not exactly right for me, so I came back to Phil and took out another SRX. I knew as soon as I sat in the car it was the perfect fit for me. The process to purchase was easy too! No need for the stress and anxiety at this dealership. The worst part was signing all that paperwork!
