Called about having a timing belt addressed and was...

Called about having a timing belt addressed and was surprised that the price for the service was significantly lower than my usual service provider. I specifically asked why the cost was less than I expected, and was told that it was because it did not include everything in the 90,000 service, but essentially included everything that I needed for the crucial maintenance of that part. I also added brakes, a navigational upgrade, and a fuel service to the package. When I reviewed the bill, I was surprised to see that the water pump would not be replaced at the same time, based upon the location, and the accessibility at the time that this service was provided? My previous experience was that this service was typically performed at the same time, and the failure of this component will be as fatal in the failure of an engine as the timing belt? I would have assumed that if this were the case, it would have been addressed at that time.

Rick Bernard is absolutely a superb salesman. He is a low pressure individual who answered all of my questions about the Rav4 and did not hound me to purchase the vehicle. During my initial interest he provided me with the Carfax history report and interpreted the data. I looked over the Rav4 on Saturday morning, came back in the afternoon for a test drive and purchased on the following Wednesday. I contacted Rick about the vehicle several times before the purchase and always felt comfortable getting the right answers to questions. The family has driven the vehicle for the past week and we are extremely happy the purchase was made with Rick at Richmond Lexus.

Stewart Broyles "walks the talk" on ...

Stewart Broyles "walks the talk" on "passion for perfection". I was in for 10K service and mentioned a rattle. I said it was no big deal but he insisted it was to him. Even though we did not find a problem and it has subsided, he insisted I leave the car overnight to be checked in the morning. I said I would just return in the a.m. but he again insisted I get a loaner vehicle. Bottom line...my experience with other dealer services is "if you're happy, we're happy". Stewart took it a step further and his actions implied that even though I was O.K. we both needed to be fully satisfied and he wasn't until he did due diligence to find and solve the problem. I was very impressed as I continue to be with your service department and the attitude the folks have that work in the department. Folks like Stewart had me sharing this story with my close friends. I hope this personal encounter gives a well deserved Stewart a pat on the back for a job well done.

The sales process was short and very efficient. The price was most competative and outstanding for a new year model just released. The cars preparation was detail and very well executed. The technology provided by the car was involved, but Jordan made that learning process painless. She was patient and always willing to help. This dealership is well deserving of its elite ranking. The service department has no peers in the region and is a benchmark service dealership for Lexus. I have purchased several cars at this dealership and use the service department and never have I been disappointed. Lexus of Richmond consist of a eam of individuals that are truley focused on the customer.

Had a recall on my lexus, dealer fixed no questions asked where any other dealer would check the vehicle first. They have taken care of my lexus since day 1, my next car will be another lexus

The attendant who met me at the curb and escorted me to the service center, the service employee who processed the paper work, and the service assistant who walked me to the waiting area were all given an A+ by me. Very welcoming and an enjoyable experience.
