Bought my car a week ago.

Bought my car a week ago. Was forced to buy the Clermont Dis-advantage!! My car is used so very few of the "special" deals don't apply. I was told my car was inspected and serviced. I specifically asked about the oil change, air, filter, and cabin air filter. When I looked under the hood, the coolant was low. Sales rep talked to service rep and they added coolant. . I asked about the filters and was told they were changed. I told sales rep. I would be checking them when I got home. When I checked both were OLD and FILTHY!! I sent pictures to sales rep, service rep, and team leader. NO RESPONSE!!

If I could give 0 stars I would.

If I could give 0 stars I would. NEVER purchase or use this dealership for anything. We’ve had ongoing problems with my 2023 sportage and they’ve done nothing but rake us over the coals. They’ve lied to us, put our safety as risk, and wiggled their way around doing the right thing. Edward in the service department promised us one thing then took it back. He has done this multiple times. There’s always an excuse for everything they do and don’t let you do. And do NOT let Brett (maybe his name is Brent) the mechanic work on your vehicle. He laughed at us and lied to our faces. This place should be ashamed of themselves.

Not a good experience

I reached out to them with high hopes. I can honestly say I was disappointed to say the least. Its ok if you can't come to an agreement on price that happens quite often at dealerships. But to outright discriminate and talk down to customers is beyond me. I unfortunately will be reporting Maria (or Marie) can't recall which name exactly and the other gentleman I spoke with today. I wont mention his name here because after he realized I would not tolerate being spoken to like a child he did pull back and appeared to become more human and speak respectfully from that point on. If it was just Maria/Marie that discriminated I'd say it was just a bad employee but considering he tried it as well at first makes me feel as if it may be bigger than that which is why it must be reported. My suggestion to anyone that goes there looking to negotiate just set your boundaries early and hopefully it will have them treat you like an adult as oppose to a child. Also P.S I dressed down purposely as I want to be treated fairly regardless of how I look and that determined how they treated me so take that into account before going in. The two receptionist in the front were extremely nice though so I do want to give credit where its due.

Was at KIA of Clermont today.

Was at KIA of Clermont today. My wife had told me her driver side turn signal wasn't working. The service tech examined the car and said there was a short circuit and the entire headlight unit needed to be replaced and since the car was out of warranty, I'd be looking at about $1,242. ($783 for the headlight unit and 2 hours of labor). I said I needed to think about such a large expense. On my way home, out of habit I clicked the left turn signal and it worked, just like it had for 4 years. I figure pulling and reinserting the plug fixed my problem. (short circuit? not likely) My wife greeted me and said she'd been on Amazon and the headlight unit that dealer said needed to be replaced was being sold for $300. I checked YouTube and damned if there wasn't a video how to replace the headlight assembly, and given the rapacious dealership, I decided to do it myself if and when it actually needed to be replaced Oh, and another thing.. while I was in the waiting lounge, a kid comes out and tells me there are rock chips in my windshield and they can repair them at no cost - my insurance will cover it. Being somewhat cautious, I called my insurance company. The agent told my 'yes' it would be covered but they monitor claims and if I really needed a future replacement, my claim might be turned down. So.. I passed on the rock repair. However, while I was waiting, the kid did sell another windshield repair. (The kid's spiel reminded me of the guys who used to come around and promise me a new roof after a hail storm.)

Deceptive pricing! Don't waste your time!

I was in the market for a new 2023 Kia Telluride. Advertised price online was 44k for the model I was interested in. Went to check the car in person, same problem as everyone else's review around here. 7k "market adjustment" and a $2.5k "clermont advantage" fee. With all said and done, a car that I thoguht it was going to cost me 48k out the door with taxes and fees was bumped up to $57k! I kid you not! Not to mention that I had to wait more than an hour to get to the actual pricing. A "finance manager" comes to the table and actually tried to convince me that the pricing was fair. I was so disgusted that I even changed the vehicle I was looking for.I hope KIA reads this. This dealership is making the brand lose sales! I ended up buying a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited at Orlando Dodge for exactly the price that it was advertised. Don't waste you valuable time, stay away from these guys at Kia of Clermont. New dealership, same old ways that makes everyone loathe the experience to go to a dealership to buy a new car.

RUN RUN RUN AWAY FROM THIS DECEPTIVE DEALERSHIP!!!

Same complaint as everyone else. On 4/13 when to purchase 2020 Kia Telluride 'EX' listed at $31,000 great deal right. So I went in, knowing there would be the normal taxes/tags and usually some "documentation fees ($989)"...so should be in the 33-34k range. When I get their paper work there is $2,498.00 charge to dealership for Advantage Package. Nothing but Junk Fees like tires nitrogen and unneeded insurance. The price of the vehicle balloon to $38,000. This is the type of dealership that gives dealerships a bad name. And then on the day 4/14, they had the audacity to raise the vehicle price to $33,000, a $2,000 increase!!! DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!

Bait and switch

Same complaint as everyone else. The sales person is sending me pics of the price of cars...the sticker in the text message I am sent says $32700. Not a bad deal so I went in, knowing there would be taxes and usually some "documentation fees" ..so should be in the 34-35k range. When I get there and get the papers there is a 2500 "Clermont advantage" fee + 5000 (!!) market adjustment fee...so 7,500 more THAN THE PIC SENT TO ME. I understand inflation, and the market, and all of that...but this stuff should be included IN THE PICS YOU SEND AND NOT HIDDEN UNTIL AFTER YOU GET THERE!!

Never written a review for a dealership I didn't buy a car from until now. This is the type of dealership that gives dealerships a bad name. I couldn't make heads or tails from all the bogus extra fees, but somehow a $33,000 Kia was going to cost me over $42,000. Go elsewhere.
