Smooth Easy Experience

I went to a PL Ford dealership recently and was treated like a second class citizen while attempting to buy a USED Toyota Tacoma. I had basically given up on getting my dream truck. I decided to try one more place, I had heard good things so I came here half expecting the same treatment. The entire deal was so smooth that I literally kept waiting on the other shoe to drop. I left thinking I would get a call telling me something was wrong and I had to bring it back. It has been 4 months and I still can't believe I am driving around in my 2018 Tacoma beauty. I recommend everyone have a car buying experience such as this.

Great Salesman! Respectful and good listener.

John was respectful, good listener and seemed very knowledgeable. He spent a long time showing us around and answered all of our questions. We did not feel pressured to buy and will probably return soon to make a purchase.

Ty was great!

Ty was a pleasure to work with. He was honest about what he could do and not do and never got pushy. He worked hard to get a deal done and was not your typical car salesman. Great buying experience. I highly recommend him.

Mark Kushnak and John David Hebert provided outstanding customer service! They both have gone above and beyond helping me get my vehicle financed. Mark Kushnak is the epitome of why people hate to buy cars.

Contacted Mark about buying a new car from them and told him what price I was willing to pay. He said that he would check with a manager and get back to me. After about 2 hours I got impatient and called him to check on the possibility of getting my deal done. He replied that he had dropped the proposal on a manager’s desk and that he had not checked back on it since then. (First red flag) We eventually agreed on the price I was looking for but he had gotten to a low price by using incentive money instead of the reduced interest rate I was looking for. He said he would fix the mixup, but then sent back a proposal removing the all weather mats that we had previously agreed to. He told me this was something that management had done that he didn’t catch. AND that I was just getting too good of a deal to include the all weather mats. (Red flag #2) We eventually came to an understanding and he had me sign a proposal letter confirming the deal. He said that if I signed it, he would take it to management to see if they would hold it until I could come up there a few days later (I even told them that I would be happy to sign anything or put money down to confirm my commitment). So after all of this he tells me that it is strictly against company policy to take money or hold cars for customers and that he could not guarantee the car would still be there when I came up. (Red flag #3). So why in the heck did he have me sign a proposal in an attempt to hold the car if he knew all along that this was strictly against company policy? It is this type of dishonest sales tactics that will keep me away from this dealership, and hopefully anybody else that reads it.

Nang made it easy...

Nang was very attentive and personable. I never felt rushed. The purchase of my Hybrid Rav4 was easy. I appreciate 'easy'! The finance end of this was easy as well.
