This is the WORST place in the WORLD to buy a car.
This is the WORST place in the WORLD to buy a car. LIARS..LIARS...LIARS...BEWARE. I drove 5 hours round trip but called first to ask what fees on top of the price were there...oh $800 dealer fee. I said we'll I not coming and the guy said oh no we will work with you on that...come on. After I got there, I was told that they had a $2000 package on top of that. After 5 hours, we made a deal but they had to replace a bad power seat motor and a broken passenger mirror. I drove back 5 hours round trip and they fixed the seat but said they didn't know about the broken mirror and they didn't have the part. I was told when I bought it that they had all the parts in stock. I paid $11000 down and they put GAP insurance on the loan that I didn't need. Salesman said ok we took that off only to find it back on the paper work later and had to make them remove it again...RUN AWAY...I REPEAT...RUN AWAY....LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE

We had a great buying experience at Jim Shorkey
We had a great buying experience at Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi on February 23rd! Natrone was our salesman. He was so attentive to our needs, knowledgeable about the features of each vehicle, and helpful with the purchasing process. What an impressive young man! Love our Altima! Thank you Natrone and Jim Shorkey!

Don’t PLAY Their GAME
Upon first arriving and checking out a couple of Outlanders the experience was normal. After we wanted to see and even find out information without driving on other year model Outlander, the switcheroo and games begin. We were handed off quickly to other team members and ‘managers’ who were pushing the 2023 model and being deceptive about what they had on the lot. We did have an idea before coming in as to what they said they had online. Which is another tactic. Online prices are lower to get you there. When we questioned the varying prices, One of the managers even said to our face, “I have to have a flashy sales price to get you here”. Our other sales guy said a lady in an office somewhere puts the online prices up and their team doesn’t even know what it’s priced at. Two differing stories within an hour of each other. If you do shop there, be prepared for the window tags to have added features priced to the vehicle that is more than the cost shown online. I understand about tax/tag and such, but it’s more than that. When we were ready to walk away the 5th person - GM of Mitsubishi guy this time comes and shows us the ‘magic invoice’ of what they claim to have paid for the car and berates us to how we would never find a better deal and they were happy to let us walk away (which is totally fine with us as we did lol) The icing on the cake and main reason for me leaving a review is this. We were standing to leave and as I am mid shaking hands, thanking our first guy that helped us out with test driving- the GM guy physically pushes past me in between me and my wife and daughter somewhat angrily. This is tight cubical spaces and we weren’t looking to stay mind you. I was very taken back by his attitude and actions which seemed to stem from us not buying a vehicle. No excuse me or sorry was said. So I did stay 20-30 seconds longer to tell him that that wasn’t any way to treat potential customers and it was a S$&@ way to do business. There is more I could elaborate on about them not finding VIN numbers and telling us that ‘up north gets priority on all wheel drives, I don’t know if we even have any here’. Then they find some after we force the issue and look the numbers up for them. All in all a deal wasn’t made and that is fine. But shopper and buyer beware of the switch plays and the aggressive deceptive tactics of some of their staff. Don’t let them push you around verbally or physically because if they did with us they probably have and will continue. Please understand we did not ask for managers or try to go over anyone’s head. I assume that is how they handle all the customers to make them feel like you are at the top and that’s the end. I also know reviews are all over the place these days and sometimes people have other motives for leaving them - Trying to get something or something for free. I am just telling you our experience at Jim Shorkey of Gainsville GA.
